As I’m looking over some of the Disneyland collectables I’ve procured over the years, it seems that a good percentage of them not only happen to represent the unique attractions at Disneyland among Disney parks around the world but also happen to be grouped together in the same section of the park. A realization i made when creating this poll. Sort of a strange coincidence. They amount to about 3/4 of the stuff I found worthy enough to put on my bookshelf.

Voted for Alice! I think it is the best dark ride in the Disney parks I've experienced. And then couple that with the picturesque teacups, it is just lovely. However, I think the teacups are a little lame, I can't get them to spin as fast as I can get the the teacups at Magic Kingdom to spin, but the view from the DL ones is top notch.

Alice is a fine choice. DL has some unique gems. I usually create these polls before I've thought about my answer. Ultimately I had to go with NOS as its an entire land and the Quintessential Disney park land at that.

MK’s have better spinning… but what the heck is up with that horrible like-an-elephant-being-shot sound the MK tea party makes when it stops????

“BANG!!!! Eeeeeerrrraaaaerrraarrrrrauaurrraaauu” 😄 It scares the daylights out of me! 😄

Disney: Yeah, the teacups sound great and Tomorrowland Speedway is a masterpiece. Hey, let’s rip out Rivers of America!

Yeah the noise isn't great at MK, you do have a point there.

I’ve been to Disneyland 5 times over the years…’68, ‘70, ‘72, ‘87 and ‘10.
The Matterhorn has always been the quintessential Disneyland attraction to me (Mr. Toad to a lesser degree, because it once existed in MK, and although it’s a classic, it just never held the same excitement level for me).
I always loved the waterfalls, plus back when the “mountain climbers” used to perform and the Skyway used to run through it, not to mention it being so prominent on the skyline. I remember our family driving down from No Cal when I was a child and getting so excited when we spotted the Matterhorn from the highway…!!! :)

That’s a great point actually. Yes, Toad is unique now but it wasn’t always that way so for me that kind of disqualifies it when you have a gem like Alice that has never been replicated. Matterhorn you could say that EE is its spiritual successor but there is nothing like Alice
