Thanks for posting this, will be in Paris next week and would not have known about this at all.
I assume your Google-fu is strong, but here is their website regardless. No need to book a ticket in advance, I just walked up and entered without a wait this weekend.

Current website wait time to book - 41 minutes. Don’t they know these prices are valid until October ? No rush !
They write that they use dynamic pricing “so book now” to create this needless frenzy. I quickly booked before going to bed last night around 10:30 pm Eastern. I guess no one in Europe was awake yet! Some people are confused because you have (had?) to use the UK site and book in pounds regardless of where you live. Thankful for credit cards with no foreign transaction fees. The system has no problem with me entering a US home address.

We have mainland Europe friends who often book via the UK site to get our offers that they don’t get.

This project is about to come to reality, with the launch of the new light concept scheduled on Friday, September 12, after several weeks of programming throughout the summer, and months of preliminary work.

The renovation included the replacement of over 640 luminaires – requiring over 17 kilometres of cabling – the modernisation of technical equipment, and the creation of new technical access points to facilitate maintenance operations. In total, the new light display features about 48,000 lighting points, offering new possibilities to the creative team of the destination. At the same time, repainting of the roof of the attraction is ongoing and will be completed shortly.

This upgrade will deliver a breathtaking experience – not only for passengers aboard Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, but also for all Discoveryland guests, who will be able to enjoy the stunning light effects – forming a loop lasting about 16 minutes – generated each time a vehicle launches.

As well as restoring the attraction’s majestic roof to its original splendour, the new lighting will feature all-new effects to enhance this iconic Discoveryland landmark.
