New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

Iger after I march into his office and tell him I was expecting a new Tomorrowland announcement:

I feel like McDonald's being forced to fix their ice cream machines really makes everything else broken down or in need of TLC (Tomorrowland, BART escalators, the Disco Yeti...) is even more glaring.

Seriously, I've given up on a refresh of Tomorrowland. :(

McDonald's isn't being "forced" to do anything.

I think what you mean is that Taylor (their machine provider) no longer has a choke hold on the service of the machines. Something that previously required the franchise owner of an individual store to call Taylor for any service, even something as simple just a machine just requiring a reset due to an error during a wash cycle, a 30 second thing. This is allowing the franchisee to get service from other providers, even allowing them to service it themselves for simple tasks like resets.

I said "forced" because there was a lawsuit.

......also, my dude, it was a joke.

HAHAHA, knee slapper.

But seriously I'm aware of the lawsuit, and it was really against Taylor specifically not McDonald's on the right to repair, even though McDonald's was named in the suit. As it was Taylor holding the franchisees hostage not McDonald's because of a "copyright".

Just go to Chick-fil-A, 2 bucks for a cup of ice cream with a topping.
