DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Am I wrong, or is the SUE cast at DAK one of like only four in existence? Two travel to museums around the country, there's one at the Field Museum for research purposes, and this one here.

The reason it is on display in this park at all is important, as Disney co-sponsored the purchase of SUE (along with other donors like McDonalds) to donate it to the Field. And having a very limited cast on display at a Disney park was a nice token of appreciation.

If the resort can find a way to retain the Leave a Legacy faces after redoing EPCOT, I am hopeful they can find a respectful way to continue to display this important replica somewhere where guests can enjoy it.

As a HUGE dinosaur fan and Chicago resident, I can confirm what you said about SUE being a rare cast. I'm lucky to have grown up seeing two of these casts regularly—it's a big part of what made me love dinosaurs.

There's always the T-Rex restaurant. They could put it outside there.

Or arrange a trade with Universal for the Marvel theme park rights!

As far as I know, the original fossil is in the Field Museum. There are three casts, one in DAK, and two in traveling tours.

The one at the Field museum recently moved her to a dedicated location in the museum due to the Titanosaur taking over it's former spot..They also recently added the bottom part of her ribcage to the figure...

Many of the dinosaur fossils on display at the Orlando Science Center were originally on display at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Dinosaur Jubilee, which closed in 2001.

Not sure how it is in Florida for butterflies around the fall and winter solstice unless they make it a year round climate controlled structure.

As the only time I seen Butterflies is when they do the walkthrough during F&G.

Many native species can turn up year round. Although it’s not open right now (renovation), FMNH in Gainesville hosts a year-round butterfly walkthrough exhibit.
