MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Beware the person who uses a dead person's words to further their opinion.
What Brayden did was provide Walt's POV of how he felt about the River.

Of course you could argue it's a dated perspective as he would also classify Jungle Cruise as E-tickets in his day. You could also argue that the RoA integration was as influencial as his railroad.

I don't think anyone here would be happy if they removed the railroad.

I'm absolutely not in favor of removing the RoA at the Magic Kingdom, but to be fair, Walt Disney didn't really care about the Magic Kingdom. It hasn't been removed at Disneyland, and since they did all the work to preserve it when adding Galaxy's Edge, it probably won't be.
As far as Walt was concerned, the primary goal of MK was to raise money for EPCOT.

My personal opinion (and this is just my opinion) the only things sacred at MK is Main Street, the castle, and the rail road. that's it. Any other park its a different answer but for MK. It's not DL, or TDL, or DLP. and I feel it's been trying and failing to be them for many years. My personal opinion is why not try something new. Do I think cars was the right answer. not convinced, but open minded

Maybe because DHS needs more attractions and it would actually be a better fit there. GM has Test Track and it wouldn't fit EPCOT anyway and of course Animal Kingdom is off limits but of course I am operating on the assumption that theme still actually means anything at Disney which judging from their recent work is not likely a priority for them.

In my opinion MK was Main Street, Castle, Train, Steamboat and Submarine.... they have now removed two of those items... No doubt Main Street and the Castle will always remain, but this move has shown us that nothing is sacred in their eyes...
There were ways I am sure to do these additions without losing the river...Petitioning for more land access, re-shuffling backstage etc.... The plus to doing it that way would have meant all construction was happening pretty much out of sight until it's reveal....but we are where we are now.

Of course, but his admiration and attention for the Rivers was noteworthy at least.

I don't think it's relevant at all outside discussing history.

edit to add: Walt's ethos is what should be held up. His demand for the highest quality storytelling, pushing the boundaries of technology to create new ways to tell stories. His eye for detail and the attention to how everything is presented on stage from trash cans to creating a family friendly environment.

If you can uphold those principals when replacing things or adding things to the parks then you are well on your way to being successful. What you're replacing and how doesn't really matter.

Well since it’s your opinion, I think it’s not fair to say they think nothing is sacred? I would not dream of calling the subs or steamboat sacred. But Haunted Mansion in some capacity is sacred to me. Same with our people mover.
