Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

I have the Pixie Dust M-F pass. I'm seriously considering a Sunday night party on my check in day.
I'm doing a solo WDW trip in mid September and I'm also considering doing the party on the afternoon after I check in. I'm staying offsite but it's only about a 6 mile drive to the MK. I already have a party ticket for later in the week but I'm mainly visiting WDW for the party so I figure I might as well do it twice while I'm there.

I always dress as Peter Pan. My Tinker Bell cannot get the time off work this time but we will both be back around Thanksgiving for a week of fun (and probably crowds).

Random question: Why does Disney list the party as running from 7 p.m. to midnight, but then have a stage show scheduled to begin at midnight?

They want everyone to leave after the last stage show. No getting on line for more rides during it. Rides close at midnight. Then they got to process everyone in the queue. So, by the time the stage show is done, so are almost all the rides.

It's not been unknown to have fireworks or Fantasmic! to start at announced closing time for the same reason.

Epcot does this every night - fireworks start when the park closes at 9

Is there a point at which they actually physically close the park, as in they will no longer tolerate people lingering around Main Street just hanging out and will shoo them out the exit?

I have been in the Park after MNSSHP’s midnight closing in past years until almost 2am.
Main Street shops stay open until 1 am, and if you happen to be in one there was no forced rush to leave.

Eventually however you need to take the hint, and depart.

I tried to linger once the week before HEA debuted (and they were testing) 90 minutes after park close the security officers kindly asked me and another nerd doing the same thing to leave. Security starts a sweep from the periphery and eventually gets to the hub and down MSUSA. There is no set time but 90-120 min after park close is when they complete it. If you’ve seen the wristband checks at the start of the party and how they move you seen what security does at close.

In fact Fantasmic! has a show after closing sometimes IIRC

So for those who have attended already, how were the special party food offerings and snacks this year?
Any standouts you really enjoyed?

This year I have my eye on the pumpkin ravioli over at the Village Haus and the Ursula ice cream cone at the Nook.

I have been told the black coloring of the cone can leave some darkness to your teeth, however!
