EPCOT Impressions de France having operational issues?

I have no issue with sing alongs and their popularity for kids, but shove it in Magic Eye or some other theater that’s wildly underutilized
I don’t think they are that popular with the kids are they? The frozen show at DHS is popular because of its location - but even then it wasn’t full when I was there. Mermaid was.
The other sad thing is AA is the last World Showcase other than IDF attraction that is actually is a showcase of the actual country rather than a cartoon version of it like what has happened to the rest of World Showcase.
The Canada and China pavilions still have non-ip attractions as well.

They've actually generally done a decent job of hiding the cartoon elements either inside or around a corner. I personally think that, if IP must come, discreetly tucking rides in based on Disney properties while maintaining films, shows, and exhibits centered on the real countries feels like a tolerable compromise. It's part of why BatB should go.

Oh right, but I still stand by the idea that World Showcase was more interesting when it was trying to replicate the real world not Disneyfy it.

I honestly hope they have a concrete plan for Magic Eye when they do Imagination 4. The fact that the film festival has been around this long is embarrasing.
Brickey just did a video about Disneyland's Magic Eye being in a similar pathetic, grossly-underutilized state. Saddens me how underutilized the entire Imagination Pavilion has become. They should either completely restore Imagination 1.0 (which I realize they'd have to dig-up the old turntable at great expense) plus a new "4D" film ..... or completely gut/level and start all over.

Wouldn't American Adventure equal it? Yeah, the finales been changed a handful of times but the main show is basically the same as in 1982.
Tears would always be streaming down my face by the time of the finale, each and every time ('90s, '00s, '10s; ... for the '80s I was too young to fully appreciate it). The only time I didn't cry was when I saw its latest iteration, but I'm hoping that was because someone was on their, bright, phone in the seat next to me the entire time. Had to hold myself down not to take the phone away! So I should give the latest version another chance.

I have absolutely no desire to ever see a ny of the "sing along" attractions at WDW...
Maybe they could do a sing along Hamilton between showings of the Hall Of Presidents?
I know all the words to “Say No to This”. Used to sing it to my kids when they were 3. Still do, sometimes.

See? It is a solidly great idea...lol... Could Alexander Hamilton and the Schuyler Sisters (and Peggy) become walk around characters at the American Adventure Pavilion? That would be fun... especially if they would break out in song from time to time....

I’m not sure if Impressions has returned yet, but I was able to confirm via a friend there today that it has indeed not operated for the last several weeks due to an issue with the curtains. The CM they spoke to said it “may be back tonight” but apparently did not seem super confident in their answer. Would definitely appreciate anyone checking if they’re in the park in the evening any time soon

I love ‘Impressions’….so nice to walk into that charming French setting and enjoy this classic slice of ol’ EPCOT Center on a hot afternoon.

When I last saw the film this past May, it looked better than ever projection wise.
The recent upgrade really makes it pop off the screen in a good way.

Here’s hoping it is back soon.
I can’t be the only one missing it already….
