DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Maybe instead of snakes in the queue, have a segmented exit, so you have the option to see the snakes, a bit like Sea World has the option to see the penguins at the end of Penguin Trek

In the exit area or just somewhere in that part of the land that animal handlers could come out with animals (including snakes) would be cool for people to be able to see (be they ride or not).

Maybe just have some animatronics in the queue like the spider in the Jungle Cruise queue

I think the night safari was eventually considered to be a failure and stopped running even while the late hours were still in effect.

I do think DAK needs at least one more ride in addition to a new show on the water to really offer a complete nighttime experience but it’s getting there. Would be nice if they fast tracked a TLK ride in Africa or a third ride in Pandora.
I think a Tarzan ride in Africa would also be cool. Based around the gorillas, elephants, cheetahs, etc. Maybe a coaster or a dark ride?

Unfortunately Disney doesn't own the rights to Tarzan, and have been moving away from the character. I think he would really fit AK and add something cool and unique, but I doubt they'd ever invest in an IP they don't have the full rights to anymore.

Oh no! That’s sad. I mean they could still do a ride based on the African rainforest even without any IP.

I just rewatched Brother Bear for the first time since seeing in theaters 22 years ago (!), and it would fit really well in a North American section of Animal Kingdom. I guess this is kind of off-topic, but a North American wilderness section would be quite nice.
A NA section with a revisited Dinosaur ride, Brother Bear water ride, and a Gravity Falls walk-through is my armchair imagineering idea

I’m surprised there’s never been much buzz about a Black Panther attraction in AK (unless I missed it, entirely possible).
I think BP counts as being a part of the "Avengers family" of heroes. As such he can't show up at WDW. I imagine that's the same reason neither Nebula or Mantis are a part of Rewind. They're technically Avengers before they're Guardians in terms of legal stuff.

I definitely agree!
And you know, kind of funny: in retrospect there was a North America section of Animal Kingdom. There were two, in fact: Camp Minnie-Mickey and Dinoland. :hungry:

A North American area with the Pocahontas show brought back, a Bambi flat, and a Brother Bear ride could work.
Isn't he featured somewhere at Islands of Adventure? As part of a mural or something?
I think they can use Wakanda, and certain characters like Okoye and Shuri.

Oh, that’s too bad. I think the style of Black Panther would look much more natural in AK than something like Lion King (although while I think LK is inevitable, it will no doubt be largely enclosed, so won’t impact the overall look of AK too much.)

Personally, as much as I like the idea of a North American themed land at AK, I would much prefer to see an Oceania/Pacific Ocean countries theme land at AK as the next themed land after TA. Especially since the northern expansion plot has enough space to host it and it does have some IP you could easily attach to it like Moana, Finding Nemo, and maybe Lilo and Stitch, but idk how would they really connect that to animals or nature.
But at the same time, they did a good job with Avatar in that regard and apparently so is the Encanto and Indiana Jones rides coming here. Oh and I guess if the rumors that 2026 original film from Walt Disney Animation Studios is going to be set in The Philippines and is popular enough, yeah they could put it there.

I'd be up for a North America land at Animal Kingdom (especially if it gives them an excuse to put dinosaurs back in the park like @Moth suggested). Problem is, Brother Bear and Bambi aren't particularly popular IPs so I doubt Disney would greenlight it.

Black Panther is under the Universal licensing deal under the Avengers family.

Wakanda has been mentioned several times as part of Disneyland IP they are exploring. Especially if the goal is to diversify the resorts, that seems a likely target.

It is Doctor Strange that could be used at WDW as the only other notable big MCU earner.

Kinda my idea that I will post about as well but I had Pocahontas + Gravity Falls rides + a new show that has Native Americans go over their different interpretations of creation of the world/animals.

My ideal version of the Gravity Falls ride would be about Stan doing a new "Mystery Tour" with track driven golf carts that Soos & the Twins immediately break you off the path of because his tour is a scam anyway. You would go through and see a lot of the creatures (more based on the similar to real life fantasy/cryptids like the real Gobblewonker, Manutaurs, Unicorns, etc)
