DHS What should they do with Animation Courtyard?

Seems like we’re kind of losing sight of the news that Disney has absolutely no long term plans for AC and just intends to leave it a mess of “short term” stopgaps. Since the supposed big plans the company had for the area was perhaps the most prominent argument put forward by posters more positive regarding the loss of Muppets, this seems pretty significant.
Honestly, I don't think so. This is a short term solution, yes because they already announced 2 projects coming to Hollywood Studios in the next 3-4 years. I didn't really expect them to have something for the next 4 years planned for AC but this is something that they could easily sunset in the next 10 years, no questions asked.

Would Disney Jr. Closing be an indication of where Bluey might finally show up? Turning it into a dedicated meet and greet space that can handle something with that mixh potential demand? Given that was supposed to happen this year?
and over at the soundstage, you’ll find a fresh Disney Jr. show.

I'm gonna say no unless they add Bluey to that show. but who knows? maybe she could appear here

I mean, the reality is that people don't realize just how much infrastructure really is in that area. It's not just the animation building and the parking garage for it.

In terms of the building that has brown derby, it also is the dance party and club 33 and the parks main cast cafeteria(which has a subway and stuff). Its all 1 building.

Since Star Tours never uses it's extended queue (under the AT-AT) I would move him and BB8 there.
They could do a little work to the jedi training stage area as well and have a meet and greet for him that goes into that area. They have the backstage infrastructure to have him there. Or maybe they well temporarily have him just come out on the stage until they figure out what to do. Im betting BB8 is a goner for the foreseeable future.

This seems like a lot of effort to go though for not a permanent thing. I bet this lasts at least 5-6 years. We are even losing the arch for it.
Since Phase 2 of Hollywood is most likely coming in the 2030's, this would make sense.

I think we already have a good idea of all the big stuff coming to WDW up until 2029-2030 (which is the first 5 years of the supposed 10 year plan). It's nice that this space will have something there other than Launch Bay, until we get a proper announcement for the real expansion of this area. Just my opinion!

....Are you thinking what I'm thinking? This is almost the perfect set up to a Midnight Suns ride (they probably would never do it but come on)

Yes, thats an option! They will probably wait to see how the eventual movie does.

other very likely options if they do well commercially are Strange Academy and Nova. Those are projects in development right now.
