EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

SSE, LWTL, Soarin, TR, and Guardians are all E tickets.
I absolutely love Living With The Land, but in no world is it an E-ticket.

That’s also not many E’s…

And SSE is so outdated, is it really still fair to lump it in with the likes of Kilimanjaro Safaris and Tower of Terror? Post-redo for sure, but until then it is a mixed experience to most guests, as it should be.

I had that problem with Test Track 2.0, as it didn’t feel like a traditional E because of how flawed it was.

I don’t think anyone would argue Hollywood doesn’t have significantly better top tier attractions than EPCOT, despite the bones of EPCOT being far stronger, making up for it in a way.

It’s still a problem for a park that’s on its way to 50 years old. EPCOT got screwed by COVID, that’s for sure.

I will say, new Test Track helps the park a lot. Stands on its own a lot better, but we absolutely should demand more top tier rides at the park. It’s obviously the major flaw of it.

SSE and lwtl are classics and still headliners. Both are 15 min shows with animatronics, detailed sets and in LWTL a bunch of constantly changing plants with innovative techniques growing them. If HM and potc are still E tickets they should be too. Even though it’s a show i’d consider American adventure an E also.

In all the years of Virtual Queues, I’ve never *not* secured a boarding group … until today. Struck out at 7 and 1. Gone in milliseconds. They must be releasing very few BGs.

Luckily, they seemed to get through all the BGs, and opened up the queue to all APs around 5:30pm today. The regular queue was listed as 90 minutes. We opted for Single Rider, and were on in 16 minutes. After finishing, we got back in the SR line and only waited 9 minutes.

Huh? I think Epcot is the strongest park at WDW right now.
At EPCOT right now, and good god this park needs more quality rides.
Epcot is the best park because of how well it excels at everything else (atmosphere, dining, layout, etc). Epcot probably has the weakest ride lineup of the 4 parks. (Even if it is my favorite.)

There's a very noticeable drop off in popularity after the top 5 (CR, TT, Soarin, FEA, RRA) for every other ride in the park. If Disney gave these rides the updates they needed, I don't think the popularity drop off would be as bad as it is now.

got the whole thing memorized in my head ive been on 7 times! :D
5 here!

It feels like the classic Test Track, in the sense it’s comparable to Tower of Terror and Expedition Everest as instant classics. That “era” of E-tickets was filled with such high quality when they tried, and it seems they’ve returned to it.

2.0 was laughably bad. 😂

Come to think of it, whoever did Tiana’s Bayou Adventure needs to be fired.

PATF was the PERFECT IP to replace Splash with, and the preschool story of finding the missing ingredient they came up with looks even worse when you have Test Track’s team delivering an outstanding product.

They should have given PATF a new ride and if they needed to retheme SM done it without an IP maybe themed to the old West to fit with its next door neighbor.
