EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

I am surprised there is not more going on in the exit area.

It seems like a wasted opportunity for gm to me.
The post-show being so bland and boring is a weak point that imo significantly brings down the whole experience. I get that GM probably wanted all eyes on the vehicles, but even if that were the case, the exhibits were a great way for kids to kill time while Mom and Dad maybe go look at the cars. The only activity in the entire area being a photo op with a static EV charger plugged into a picture of a car on the wall is a genuine embarrassment and I think it's only being overlooked because the ride itself is good.

The “charging” tunnel reminds me of the snowflake walls on the frozen ride. Like cmon…. It’s so obvious you ran out of $$$
The smart road scene to me reads like they had this great idea for the first half of the break test with the LiDAR set, but then still had the ABS half that they had to do something to. I don't think it's a budget constraint as much as it's a space and track constraint, truly not much they could do for that scene (hence why there hasn't been a set there for the last two versions of the ride either)

Love how they have the mobile hedge ready to close it down when necessary...

Random question for those who have gone... Are they enforcing the 1 hour return window on the virtual queue? Or can you basically go any time after your boarding group is called. (I was going to try to go Friday, but I have an appointment in the morning.)

When I went yesterday I showed up around 10 minutes late and they let me in. They also let you ride as many times as you want in the single rider line until you leave the vicinity of the pavilion.

I feel compelled to call them out on using trash cans AS queue decoration. Functional sure but you can't convince me it's not serving a dual purpose. It's like some type of evil genius level lazy form of themeing.
