DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Tropical Americas will likely feel like the most well rounded land at DAK I think

Spinner, dark ride, thrill ride, playground, and an adjacent stage show that is/isn't part of the land

Apart from the missing animal enclosures, this is pretty much a perfect roster for a land
I love that it will be a complete land with its own identity. Also, the rides are all different which I love. The issues of having single IP-based lands not only handcuffs Imagineers to having to use IP, they are also limited to a single IP for a land. This at least allows them the ability to work with multiple IPs, allowing for a varied menu of attractions. Another bonus is that 2 rides are indoors with the third being covered. This will help this park on bad weather days.

We really need a proper a nighttime show at Animal Kingdom. Otherwise it's just beautifully themed half-day or 3/4 day park.

Dig that pond up and put in some Luminous tech/WoC fountain tech.
I do think that a new show on the water - probably with drones - is going to happen, probably opening at the same time Tropical Americas opens and we’ll see extended hours. Looking forward to Awakenings happening regularly as well.

Agreed. Someone that really knows what they are doing has to take another stab at a night time show.

I was one of the few people that loved Rivers of Light…when it was working. Unfortunately, there couldn’t even be the slightest breeze during that performance or it ruined it.

But that amphitheater is too beautiful to just be sitting there. A WoC show would be beautiful in that park, but I think that it would require some extensive rework of that entire water system for that to become a possibility. What would be enjoyable is if they built a stage in front of the seating area where a Bollywood dance team could perform as party of an overall show. There is SO much potential for that theater.

Would a Drone Show (similar to Disney Springs) work in AK over the water? Not sure if that effects the animals.

A new nighttime show and the Lion King ride at Africa would really make DAK a perfect park
Truth!!

One thing that is bad for the park is to have a major land like Africa have no viewable animal exhibits at night, and NO RIDES at night. That is simply unacceptable.

With Pandora, you gained 2 new indoor attractions, and the night time light effects of the land itself. Now you are gaining 3 new attractions in a newly redesigned land itself, with all 3 being covered and 2 fully indoor. Asia has 2 rides already.

Josh needs to keep spending here. Add a large, indoor, E-ticket attraction in Africa, a new nighttime show, and along with the ToL projections, this park will finally become an all day park.

As far as that goes, the problem would probably be the proximity of the drones to the guests if they were actually moving over the water.
I'm skeptical drones returns to WDW anytime soon.

Maybe Dreams that Soar returns to Disney Springs next summer before the "new activitations" are new starting in 2027 and beyond.

Starlight and Test Track are the karats this year. Muppets at RnR will carry limited pull.

Bring over the Paris Lion King ride for Africa expansion, Nighttime Water/Drone show, TOL Projections show and indoor family coaster to Pandora.

Add in one of the largest quick services on property, and a shop.

It’s a good land!

I also suspect it’ll have meat and greets.

Rivers Of Light was a good initial idea...but they ruined it by turning it into a movie clip show... When I watched it, even the kids were bored with watching water screen cartoon clips. Is that the best they can do? They no longer run the boats through that basin as an attraction... Why not invest in the infrastructure and make the lake usable as a World Of Color type show lagoon. If that is not possible, then floating stages and an engaging show with lots of hidden set pieces that illuminate and activate during different parts of the show... Or just build an island in the middle that by day is beautiful with landscape, waterfalls, etc, and by night transforms into a huge set like Fantasmic... It desperately needs something
