They knew about July in FL when they chose to premiere in July in FL.

The unfortunate part is, unlike fireworks, they will not run Starlight in even light rain. They can’t drench these floats like FoF lol. Easy excuse to delay the opening and gives them more time. I guess we wait and see what happens.

That’s what I’m afraid of. I guess I’ll have to postpone my excitement for Disney Starlight Parade until Florida weather calms down.

Watched the video. Now that I see they’ve announced this element, I have to say there are some really stunning lighting transitions that will synchronize with the music. The show will be filled with those classic Magic Kingdom moments that make your heart soar and bring a tear to your eyes.

Really looking forward to seeing this live.

It’s being designed to run in light rain. Will it get canceled more often than HEA? Sure. But it won’t be nightly. You are more likely to see 9 pm canceled while 11 pm runs. Thank goodness they have that second show.

MSEP & Spectro never had Washout Summers that I remember.... Do we need to be careful with 9pm every night??

Royals are still confirmed, Correct???

True but remember only 8 more HEA Only Nights. Meaning even if the 20th is cancelled, MK won't have have Schedule a Date for the Debut, It'll just happen the next night it's Dry!

The tropical low they are talking about (just watched the local news here) looks to be out of the picture by Friday, this doesn't look like anything to worry about for Starlights debut.
Thanks! We probably should still watch it...... Of course we have to think about typical Orlando Summer Rains as well!

It's kind of nice to hear MK took Light Rain into account with Starlight. I KNOW what happened May 28, 1999 and it looks like WDW's Actual 20th wasn't much Better....

Look up Spectro from Oct 1st 1991 for wet pavement since it won 't work here!....Rollseyes!....
