@Miru

I’m deeply sorry about this, because I know you spent a lot of time and effort on this pitch, but I am completely and totally unfamiliar with this studio (I think it’s a studio?) and have no idea what half of these words mean. Seems like it’d be popular for fans, though!

Community Chest: Ditto!

Moana’s Island

@WaltWiz1901

Most of what I said about Kauai applies here! I do wonder if a water play area is a good fit for TDR, though, given that they have seasons. Still, I love to see legitimate Moana representation!

Community Chest: This is a really cool way to diegetically integrate FSH into this new area!

The Cavern of Dreams

@Architectural Guinea Pig

Fantasy Springs’ backstory has pretty much no payoff. This is a fantastic way to fix that! Instead of going for a large miniland, you worked very realistically within the confines of the space. The new hotel is a great touch, and the Caverns walkthrough seems like it would be an immersive and easy to update climax for the entire land. I do think it would’ve been nice to know a bit more about the specific features of each room - I’m somewhat confused by the explanations of each as is - but that doesn’t detract much from an incredibly unique idea!

Community Chest: …are the characters made of plaster and cement? 😆

Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleigh Coaster

@ThemeParkPriest

And then there was one! Another great diagnosis of TDS’s deficiency of roller coasters, and another great job working within the space’s limits. While I think Seven Dwarfs is a bit too short, the addition of more layout elements should balance that out nicely. A simple and sweet addition to Fantasy Springs!

Ah-ha, I just recently did the puzzle you used for your image! If I could give you a bonus point for that, I would.
I do wonder if you knew that Fantasmic is already at TDS, though? ;)
That was not intentional, by then I realized there was a volcano in the picture I used. Was it because of that?

Yeah, I’m aware that Fantasmic was at TDS, but if I recall correctly, it closed & got replaced back in 2020.

The image isn't an issue at all! I liked it quite a bit, actually.

That's my bad - I usually do my research when writing reviews, but neglected it this round! In that case, I rescind that specific sentence. Sorry! :)

Since you liked my image, I should let you know that it was painted by the late Thomas Kinkade. He made tons of Disney related painting including the Fantasia one I used, & if you look closely in some of his work, you can spot other Disney characters as cameos. I’d highly recommend to check out his work!

Don’t worry, it’s absolutely fine. Everyone makes mistakes.

Honorable Mention

Fantasia

@Half/CartoonHalf/Human

The idea of Fantasia at Fantasy Springs was really a great one! The ride felt a tad too advanced, but the overall land description made this stand out. And I'm truly sorry about the Fantasmic thing!

The Terrier

Cavern of Dreams

@Architectural Guinea Pig

While held back by its limited scale, this would be the perfect unifying feature for Fantasy Springs!

The Automobiles

Happy Valley & Kauai

@Disgruntled Walt & @Disney Warrior

While I wish there had been a bit more to both, these pitches were clever and just plain fun!

The Top Hat

Wonderland

@D Hulk

A fitting pitch for both the land and park, with a top-notch (but realistically scaled!) ride and dining selection!

And with that, we've reached the conclusion of this little game of Monopoly! Although all fought bravely, one creative capitalist had what it took to build the biggest monopoly...

Congratulations @Architectural Guinea Pig for the win!

Anyways, thank you @Earlie the Pearlie for the great game! Although I did try my best to win (but ended up nowhere close in the final results), I had a great time playing in all the rounds (well, besides the ninth one)! Now, we look forwards to Visions Fantastic by @PerGron, & the next OSC!

Woooow! Earlie, you made such an amazing and creative game and I loved every single prompt! The love and care you put into this, from the celebrity reviews to the prompts, truly shines- thank you so much for your work :) I hope to see you host a large-scale competition soon (with me perhaps?😮)

While I may inevitably host the next OSC, with my old OSC’s turbulent run I hope to seek creating a collab with a different special someone ;)

Well played, everyone! There were some really great pitches in this comp this time around! I couldn't pull off the repeat, but @Architectural Guinea Pig you had some fantastic ideas throughout. I especially liked your last one on Fantasy Springs!
Fun fact- I was originally planning on not submitting anything for the last round and seeing how it would play out- I believe we would have tied if I didn’t- ToT thank you so much for your comments!

Yeah, I knew Tokyo DisneySea already has a lot of boat rides. I just thought it'd be weird to have the Odyssey attraction NOT be a boat ride.
A very fair point! I’ll absolutely admit that the last set of reviews wasn’t my best, and you and a couple of others kind of bore the brunt of that.

Anyway, I did really enjoy your concept! I tried to give honorable mentions to pitches that were somewhat similar to one another, but if that wasn’t the case you definitely would’ve gotten the second honorable mention. You picked a great movie, and like I said a few rounds ago - I’m a hellenophile!
