Jurassic Park is the OT Star Wars of my generation. Like M. Night Shyamalan movies, I will always go see a Jurassic Park movie in theatres. Seeing Jurassic World Rebirth Saturday. Anyone else think it should have been called Jurassic Park Rebirth? Anyway, I’ve been seeing some people share their rankings. Here is mine… which is the correct order:

1. Jurassic Park
2 Jurassic World
3. The Lost World: Jurassic Park
4. Jurassic Park III
5. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
6. Jurassic World: Dominion

Hoping Rebirth sneaks into #3 or #4.

I feel like only Jurassic Park can be considered a 'good film'.

The others are all fun popcorn movies, and are great summer blockbusters but not necessarily worth anything beyond that. I still see every new one.

Temper your expectations for Rebirth.

None of them come close to the original. I did enjoy Jurassic World though. I think enough time had passed and it was nice that they kind of went back to the original recipe.

Yes, I saw it in a special preview last week. And it can be worse. It also has worse audience and critic scores.

Now maybe you'll enjoy it, but I'm just saying go in with low expectations so you don't get disappointed.

Oh wow. It’s hard to believe it can be worse than Dominion.

I think it’s called Jurassic World because they live in a world with dinosaurs.

I think he knows why its called Jurassic World. I think his point was that they should go back to calling it Jurassic Park and call this one Rebirth because they are trying to reboot the franchise, again.

I agree with him. Actually I don’t know if this movie should have even been made.

Jurassic World is such a disingenuous name for the series. The final twenty minutes of Jurassic Park: The Lost World pays off the implied concept far better than any of the recent movies have done.

I've always been amused that each movie in the series seems to adopt one part of the book that didn't make it into the first film. It's sort of an easter egg hunt in every new Jurassic movie.
