Nobody will ever be able to convince me that plans are not in place to demolish Space or gut it and use it for something completely different.

You don’t build Tron next door and then don’t have those plans in blue sky / concept / feasibility plans.

Now they may choose another plan…. But that plan has to exist as an option.

Tron and Space Mountain are very different rides, no matter how Tron was framed when built for Shanghai. There's no reason the two cannot exist near each other.

Tomorrowland is the saddest story right now....
I’d actually argue of all MK’s lands Tomorrowland is the one that might be the best of the castle parks? That being said there is a lot of updates needed and waste of space. But two E’s (Tron and Space), plus classics like PeopleMover and CoP.

I’d argue the weakest land of MK is actually Adventureland. No unique E-Ticket (like DL’s Indy) and a weaker Pirates.

So, I’d vote for a new AL attraction (Moana?) and refresh before TL.

DL Tomorrowland is literally half abandoned so I think there is a huge difference between the two.
Only thing abandoned is peoplemover and magic eye theatre.

Edit: again they are both in sad shape. I have major issues with both. WDW does look better but the same major issues are there, just not as obvious. Tomorrowland Terrace and Stitch being closed is completely inexcusable in the world’s busiest theme park.

And the Carousel Theatre. And the Tomorrowland Terrace Stage. And the Starcade. Of the 11 attraction spaces, 6 are operational.

In comparison though, Tomorrowland still has more attractions than Adventureland, Frontierlend, Galaxy's Edge, New Orleans Square. It just has a ton of unused spaces as well as needing a replacement for Buzz, Nemo, Autopia, and Star Tours.

Carousel is technically used - just underused. Like Tomorrowland terrace at WDW.

The stage is also used…. For dance parties. Not a fan but it is used.
Every time I walk by either, they are closed up and lifeless. Opening the former Who Wants to be a Millionaire building for a temporary pop up store or event that runs for less than 10% of the operating hours isn't being used, in my opinion. These are spaces where shows and attractions used to occur throughout the day for all guests. That isn't the case anymore.

It’s the land itself that is most problematic. They only partially reverted it from the 90s makeover. Well, that and the fact that two core structures sit mostly unused.

IMO, use Aladdin rather than Moana. Transition beyond Pirates to a better-realized Agrabah bazaar, move the spinner and camels over to that courtyard, add a Cave of Wonders simulator, and revert the Adventureland plaza to something resembling its original theming. Moana is probably better for Animal Kingdom based purely on the kinds of rides it needs; they just need to properly frame it within an Oceania land unlike in the blue sky.

Yeah, I'd say MK Tomorrowland is too sparse. Two great rollercoasters but there's not much to do between. TL is just a poorly themed path on the way to Space Mountain.

I've always felt like the plot beyond Pirates would be great for an archeology-themed rollercoaster and maybe a reskin of Aladdin. I do think the Magic Carpets are great as an ADA-accessible ride and they could be rethemed around like... equipment... or something. A Drill. Who knows. lol. But I honestly do like the idea of a proper bazaar and reverting Adventureland.

Oh I agree Aladdin/Cave of Wonders would be my first choice. I just don't think it is likely and we know Moana has been rumored for there.
