You shouldn't have to defend yourself here, the person you're replying to could have started this thread at any stage they wanted to before you had they felt strongly and wanted to.Well, because I had visited WDW almost exactly 4-ish years ago (late May 2021) and the parks and resorts were much more robust and busy than they had in our early Covid trips. Revenge travel was starting and households were still utilizing their CARES cash and increased child deductions on vacations.
As for this timing, the market started dropping on early March of this year. It was not caused by an international terrorist attack or a worldwide pandemic.
I think it's an interesting thread and the number of replies shows that others do too. Those who don't like it can ignore it but instead they seem to be attacking the thread instead.
I also think that there's the opportunity for people to give their reasons for numbers declining if indeed they are, be that Disney's pricing, the new Universal park or whatever reason they genuinely believe is affecting travel numbers. It's a question that could have several contributing factors to the answer and is there to debate.
