What’s old becomes new again?it's "retro" now, so underglow is coming back

It's not wrong. The monorails are plagued with so many issues. They are long overdue for a complete overhaul.
…..I wasnt gonna say itThis is a great idea, it will make them easier to see when the break down on the beam at night.
The locomotives are practically brand new. Strasburg completely rebuilt them. The trains at Magic Kingdom are even older lets just get rid of those too right
I am aware. It is still a valid complaint. They've been getting overhauls for the past 5 years with the internal components and a refreshed interior, new monorails aren't planned anytime soon.
The new glowy bit isn’t the same color as the slightly less new glowy bit?
Yes, and it’s a poor design choice.do you mean the undercarriage lights? Those are different color depending on the train so it wouldn't match the glow part which is the same on all the trains
Yeah, I was thinking electroluminescence myself... 'cause they're definitely glowing in the light, too.Ummm... that's not exactly "glow in the dark," is it. "Glow in the dark" usually means phosphorescence or black-light glow. That's actually just lit powered by electricity, no?
Well that is certainly a hot take...The trains at Magic Kingdom are even older lets just get rid of those too right
Meanwhile they are using screws to save the lighting fixtures in Epcot's walkway...But, yeah...This is.....Something..

Yes, and it’s a poor design choice.
So either the letters need to glow the same color as the corresponding monorail line or the undercarriage lighting needs to all be uniform. Take your pick, Disney. Cause what you have currently is half-assed and ugly. A for effort. D for execution. An upgrade that downgraded the look, IMHO.
Do you not understand the meaning of “design choice”?If they wanted the colors to match, they would match. It doesn’t cost more to order things like that in different colors. That means it was their decision to make the words on each train uniform. It’s their business, their choice. It’s not wrong because for some reason you think words should match an undercarriage light.
Exactly my first thought. Why couldn't they have matched the color for the lighting underneath? C'mon, they really need to hire some detail-oriented people. The new glowy bit isn’t the same color as the slightly less new glowy bit?
