Thinking about drinking some Corporate Kool-Aid, how much do MagicBands run for in the parks nowadays? I'm seeing $35-45 on Disney's site and I'm wondering if it's about the same, less (hahaha I'm sure no), or more in person.

I was also expecting a little more variety than what the Disney site is currently showing me. Are there more design options inside the actual parks?

Hahah. We drank the kool-aid on the last trip. The fantasyland activations did the trick. Bought my son the cheap $35 one. Was pleased to learn that the cheap ones do all the same things as the more expensive $60+ Magic bands.

They had an Ok selection at the old Tomorrowland hat shop. Not great but not awful.

Just checked Disney Store online. Most of the memorable ones seem to be on there but I would say there was a slightly larger selection at the park. I like that Mary Blair Alice in Wonderland one. Would be cool if there was some more attraction based designs.

Wow Hurricane Harbors plain ole Cherseburger puts Disneyland to shame. It’s weird, for a park that has a lot of great quick service, all the other parks seem to do the basics like burgers, chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders better.

For what it’s worth, earlier this year I read that Magic Mountain was starting an initiative to improve the food at their park.
Makes sense. One of the few universally positive things to come out of this Six Flags/Cedar Fair merger is that the people who have made Cedar Fair's food edible over the past five years or so are determined to do the same thing at Six Flags parks.

Hasn't stopped people from bellyaching at my old home park that some of the "good" food has been "ruined" now (as if there was edible food at Six Flags Great America before this year, which is a straight up lie), but I guess you can't please everybody.

Research on how the other half live.
Maybe he wants to see how Epic’s in-ground lighting was installed. 😃 And I hope he rode Monsters Unchained, Ministry and Hiccup’s Wing Gliders. But especially Monsters, because Disney could use a high-capacity scary crowd-pleaser like that in all their parks.

IMO, The Switch 2 is worth getting just to play Mario Kart World. Somehow they found a way to make MK even MORE insane and chaotic. As was the case with MK8, this is like an E ticket theme park ride you can take anywhere.

Photo mode is kind of addictive too…

POV of the refurbed TT is out.

Oh, great. Now it’s obnoxious, unfocused, condescending and grating. Why do Disney remodels keep making things (IMO) WORSE?
(Edit)
The projection before going outdoors is nice. Too bad the doors open up to… the same backstage drive-over. They seem to have really destroyed the suspense of that moment. Again…unfocused.
