just how bad is All Star Sports..

Funny story - one time I was heading back to Sports from Epcot and the line for Sports was massive so I went in the line for Music figuring I’ll just walk back to Sports. The bus isn’t even half full going to Music so guess what happens next?
The bus pulls forward to the Sports stop and lets people on. It was the most crowded Disney bus I’ve ever been on. There was no way I would have made that bus had I gotten in the Sports line. Not only did I make it on to that bus and skip the whole Sports line, but I also got a seat.

Sports being the 1st stop is another overblown All Star busing misnomer….
Again, while we’ve never experienced the shared busing at All Stars before, it is well known that Sports isn’t the 1st Stop anymore as it’s has been reported many times, even by someone claiming to be the Driver, Disney rotated/rotates stops when sharing is happening. Yours is an example of the driver either asking or being prompted to grab the Sports crowd before heading back…
Supposedly they’ve even crafted some schedule to make sure Movies isn’t always the last in the rotation…

And how ironic you bring up Yacht Club b in a shared busing thread….the Epcot Resort BLVD has the worst shared busing on property….when staying at Yacht we’ve NEVER not shared a bus with Beach Club, Boardwalk to MK or AK….it was even worse when S&D was part of the busing loop

It was after the fireworks at Epcot when this happened so nobody was going back to Epcot at that time. It makes sense for Sports to be the first drop off otherwise the buses are making extra left turns across traffic to double back.

I stayed at All Star Sports last November and it was great. I used the bus system to get to/from Magic Kingdom but had a rental car that I used for Epcot/HS. I enjoyed the room and it was quiet and clean. I think when the Pop Warner, cheerleading camps, or those kinds of events are in town that the resort is probably a bit of a nightmare with loud kids. However, I would not agree with people saying that the resort is bad.
