EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

To be fair, Test Track never had much of a story, just a premise. Previous iterations were focused on design and R&D; this one seems like it's focused on more of the same but with emerging technologies. Pretty strong premise, but it still needs to follow through with the execution (the jump from LIDAR to scenic PNW drives feels a little big so I'm curious how they'll justify it + the speed run at the end).
Perhaps the former hot/cold/efficiency rooms will have some sort of transitional scenes from digital to reality

This actually looks pretty great. I enjoy 2.0 well enough, but TT could easily shoot up the rankings into a top-tier ride with the retheme if the rest of the attraction is on this level.
To me, TT was always a top tier ride. ;)

When it reopens I suspect there will be NO STAND BY, just boarding groups and LL

They have a big permanent Stand By sign installed at the entrance, I think we're safe from a virtual queue
For all we know they just still haven’t changed out the signage, I mean those ARE the same letters that were installed for 2.0… but seriously though, I’m so glad they seem to be done with VQ at least for the time being

Jungle Cruise's IP was True Life Adventures. It was much more serious in tone originally.
Nature documentaries are not marketable IP. Nobody was riding the Jungle Cruise and going "Look, it's the famous and marketable character The African Lion from Disney's The African Lion". Hell, the ride is most often described as an unlicensed adaptation of The African Queen because of the tramp steamers, to the point that the Jungle Cruise movie was a pseudo-remake of that film.

I think the overall point they’re driving at is that whether or not it was a draw for the audience, Walt drew a lot (most) of the original Disneyland from actual sources be it his already made work or upcoming work. Yes, as time went on, original ideas began to appear, but the idea of using IP as a way to mitigate risk goes all the way back to the park’s opening day.

Wait until people find out that the castle was just a giant advertisement for a movie that came out 4 years later.

Bummer that they announced new music for the ride. I really liked the previous tracks and was hoping they'd give it the same treatment as what they did with Soarin CA to Soarin ATW.
