Temporary or permanent? Doesn't the turnstile add to the transit theme?
Most have been removed over time because they are no longer necessaryI wonder why?
Permanent. The turnstile was necessary infrastructure, not theming.Temporary or permanent? Doesn't the turnstile add to the transit theme?
Liberty Belle still has them too.I think the only attraction that still has one is the treehouse?
Some larger guests had difficulties getting through the turnstile and had to be let through the chain, causing a slow-down and embarrassment for the guest.I wonder why?
Well that problem's going to solve itself on July 7.Liberty Belle still has them too.

Nope, just to count the number of riders.I'm assuming this was to make sure the same number that get on will get off and not hide somewhere?
According to the site that shall not be named, and CM's at the entrance, it is being manually counted for now. Automatic sensors being installed at a later date.Everyone’s taking pictures of the new box but not looking overhead where the new counters would be located.

They have been removed from attractions over time. First they were replaced with optical turnstiles, that basically replaced the arm for an eye that counts people. They now have overhead counters as well as well as MagicBand trackers that can get a more comprehensive look at the entire queue instead of just a count.Don't HM, Tiki Room and others still do too?
Any Magic Kingdom attraction built during the ticket book days would have them.
It's where you'd give the CM your A-E ticket
