DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I agree with everyone. Nothing can top Muppets. But if they had to replace it with another IP, Monsters seems like the best fit. Crazy characters. Same type of humor. Relatable. Here's hoping they're smart utilizing everything MV3D had -- a great show, AAs, effects, live characters, etc. add to that a new coaster. I'm hopeful for a great reimagining while retaining Muppets wherever possible.

If we're being so for real.... I know they *mentioned* stage show. And that could mean anything, I guess. But this should stay a 3D show VERY similar to how Muppet*Vision 3D was..

It seems so simple.. Have Pete Doctor work with his team to come up with a great 3D show with Mike and Sulley. He is great with story treatments-adding humor and heart.
Have Roz be an AA that is in the balcony where Waldorf and Statler sat, interacting with the characters on screen throughout. On the other balcony (where Bean is) have a Boo AA.

And have maybe George as a costumed character coming out during the show, with hilarious gags of shouting "2319!" because he's around all us humans.

Its already set up for 3D with the multiple projectors in the back so a retheme shouldn't be that difficult. Put in a new 3D movie. They could re-skin the AAs. The penguin orchestra pit becoming something may be expecting too much. But a live action Sullivan would be great.

I'm glad they seem to be giving the coaster building some breathing room with that courtyard in front of it. It felt a little cramped in the earlier concept art. Retaining the fountain is always a plus, and the glob theatre is a nice pun on the globe theatre. All in all this refreshed concept art has me feeling a bit more confident in this final vision.

-Courtyard looks much better in front of the Monsters Inc. factory
-Fountain looks much better.
-Looks like it says "gifts" on the wording sign where PizzaRizzo currently is, so possibly that is just turned into a massive gift shop and Harryhausens is the only restaurant. --I'M EDITING THIS-- THAT IS WHERE THE CURRENT CHRISTMAS STORE IS SO NEVERMIND. PIZZERIZZO WILL PROBABLY STILL BE ANOTHER QS THING
-For the posters trying to will into existence, for whatever reason, there *not* being a show replacing Muppets... new art clearly shows people going in and out there which proves again that Disney is currently working on that...

Overall this new concept art looks more fleshed out instead of the first one where it was obvious they were just throwing stuff around to give us something to look at.

Appears that some of the "Monster" theming was removed from the end of the Pizzerizzo building.
I do think overall this looks better. I still would've like to see the car parked on the side (which may still happen somewhere else and just not in front of the theater where it looked a bit out of place)

The area behind Harry's is all new. Maybe stroller parking or a M&G area behind Harry's?

Wider entrance, queue to the left with umbrellas. To the right is an open area to explore. Also a true fountain remains.

It looks fantastic.

That is what jumped out to me the most, how much larger the area infront of the coaster building looks now - and yeah those shade sails over on the left are interesting .. maybe M&G or perhaps just stroller parking

The fountain looks great. Hope they retain Miss Piggy and other figurines and at least reinstall them as statues near RnRC.
