Here's the release date for Hoppers: March 6, 2026.
In addition, Pixar’s new movie about a human brain inside of a beaver, Hoppers, is opening on March 6, 2026. Warner Bros. has their animated version of The Cat in the Hat there. Well, someone’s gonna want to move there. Hoppers features the voices of Jon Hamm and Bobby Moynihan. The title was announced on Friday at Disney’s D23 big film and TV presentation at the Honda Center.

I became a lot more interested in this one when I learned that it's from the creator of the very likable We Bare Bears (though he'd done work at Pixar prior to that show, too), even more so with Moynihan in the voice cast (he's the voice of Grizz there, but again has also done Pixar work via the Inside Out films).

Well, hopefully we get the teaser trailer for this with Elio next weekend.
I also hope Disney gives this movie a big push since it’s Pixar’s 30th feature-length film and the first of their 2 Pixar film releases coming out in the year of Pixar’s 40th Anniversary.

I doubt a teaser will be attached to Elio…. That film does not come out until spring of next year…. There was a time when teasers would be released a year prior… but these days it is 6 months max…. As studios have realized it is a waste of resources

And yet we got teasers for Onward and Elio (both of which were or were gonna be March releases) 9 months before they came out or were originally gonna come out.
I doubt this wouldn’t happen again.

And Zootopia 2 got its first teaser 6 months before release, so there is precedent for them not doing it now.
But if there is anything, and its a big IF, it won't be anything more than we got for Zootopia 2 so basic animation nothing more. But I really wouldn't expect anything, it'll probably be dropped online in August/September 6 months before release, again just like the Zootopia 2 teaser.

Or it could be a more simplified version of the announcement teaser of Hoppers from D23, but without the live-action shots of Pixar HQ in it.
Also, sorry, but I’ll take my chances and believe we get a Hoppers tease with Elio, especially since there’s a good chance there is complete enough footage to have ready in a teaser trailer to play with that movie.

No need to apologize to me, as I have no real skin in the game as it were. Maybe just don't expect it, as you don't want to set yourself up for disappointment. Just let it happen, if it does then cool if not then no big deal.
