EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

Well, based on the timeline of the "rolling shrubs" for Moana, might we see previews in the next month and a grand opening in the next two months?

I see no reason for them to change the layout. All kiosks for programming cars I'm sure are removed. Would be nice to see nods to WOM inside the queue, though.

I don't particularly expect it to remain, but do you have any reason to be so certain the design center is going away? I don't think Disney has made any comments on it in any way. and we really don't know much about the attraction concept to know if having it remain would make any sense or not.

If the premise of the ride is changing away from testing a vehicle you designed, the design studio doesn't make sense.

That's a great idea. In fact, they should rip out the speed section and make that the ending.

Seems reasonable. Been hearing a late July grand opening for a bit.

I still don't get the black middle and silver outsides of the overhang. I guess it's supposed mimic the windows in the middle of the building above, but it just looks unfinished to me. maybe it will look better once the plastic is down

I'm just glad they didn't pull the IP mandate-card for this one. I don't think these forums could have handled more IP at Epcot.

Maybe Cars in Frontierland, saved us from a Test Track Cars retheme?

I always thought if they were going to do ip here they would have made it a wreck it Ralph ride.

In place of designing your own car, TT 3.0 will have gears and cranks in the queue for everyone to turn and spin in order to recharge the car batteries.

This is just lazy...
Could have been water, shrubbery, boulders, but they just went to Home Depot to get some rocks. Also, 10 bucks says that low curb becomes a tripping hazard.

Would be weird if they left it like this. With it not really opening until late summer, I take it these rocks are "placeholders".
