This is great news. There's a good chance I get on this next month! Finally, a potential WIN in a month full of losses!
I see no reason for them to change the layout. All kiosks for programming cars I'm sure are removed. Would be nice to see nods to WOM inside the queue, though.
If the premise of the ride is changing away from testing a vehicle you designed, the design studio doesn't make sense.I don't particularly expect it to remain, but do you have any reason to be so certain the design center is going away? I don't think Disney has made any comments on it in any way. and we really don't know much about the attraction concept to know if having it remain would make any sense or not.
Maybe it can be enhanced to show a 1990's cartoon with your face pasted on driving your design during the ride?I don't particularly expect it to remain, but do you have any reason to be so certain the design center is going away? That's a great idea. In fact, they should rip out the speed section and make that the ending.Maybe it can be enhanced to show a 1990's cartoon with your face pasted on driving your design during the ride?
Seems reasonable. Been hearing a late July grand opening for a bit.Well, based on the timeline of the "rolling shrubs" for Moana, might we see previews in the next month and a grand opening in the next two months?
Journey of Water Inspired by Moana
- Preview Walls (rolling shrubs) went up 28 Aug 2023
- Passholder Previews started 24 Sept 2023
- Soft Openings started 06 Oct 2023
- Grand Opening 16 Oct 2023

You are assembling car parts for a car mechanic’s birthday party only to learn the most important car part is…you! The ride is still called "Test Track" so do we know what the premise will be?
Those caaah mechanics shooah can build, ya'll!You are assembling car parts for a car mechanic’s birthday party only to learn the most important car part is…you!
“We need to search this Pep Boy’s HIGH and LOW!”
I think GM saved us from that.I'm just glad they didn't pull the IP mandate-card for this one. I don't think these forums could have handled more IP at Epcot.
Maybe Cars in Frontierland, saved us from a Test Track Cars retheme?
I always thought if they were going to do ip here they would have made it a wreck it Ralph ride.I'm just glad they didn't pull the IP mandate-card for this one. I don't think these forums could have handled more IP at Epcot.

Would be weird if they left it like this. With it not really opening until late summer, I take it these rocks are "placeholders".This is just lazy...
Could have been water, shrubbery, boulders, but they just went to Home Depot to get some rocks. Also, 10 bucks says that low curb becomes a tripping hazard.
