Visions Fantastic: An Imagineering Competition Hype Thread

Practically everyone has been saying that Unfairly Ever After is just a temporary thing until Villains Land opens; and quite a few of the reviews I've seen of it have mentioned that the show has a strong temporary feeling to it; so it's not that hard to imagine that Muppet*Vision could legitimately return.
How dare you question the integrity of Joshua, Age 12?? He's the great taste-maker of our day.

I'm pretty much spoiling what I'm going to say in my latest "How I would improve WDW' thread, but honestly, I'd replace The Hall of Presidents with a more elaborate and expanded version of the Great Moments in History show. In fact, that's been one of the big rumors as to what could replace that show, anyway.

And on a side note, maybe this is just my desperate optimism talking, but I really do think Muppet*Vision will return at some point; to be played at the Sunset Showcase.
Why did they even get rid of Muppets at Magic Kingdom anyways?

I second Hall of Presidents. In the current political climate I honestly think Muppets taking it over is pretty much the ONLY way to still maintain the theme of the show and not have it turn into a divisive optics nightmare. Wasn't there a rumor that there was going to be something Hamilton related going into that theater a while ago?
Not Hamilton, per se, but Lin-Manuel Miranda was rumored to write the songs for a new American history show alongside "Weird Al" Yankovic; which would have been awesome.

Another scrapped prompt would have seen players design a new pavilion at Epcot, but due to this being a frequently done prompt it was cut. That said, it begs the question:

What is your favorite pavilion at Epcot?

It could be one of the Future World (or whatever it's called now) or World Showcase, either or. For me, I'd have to say The Seas is... NOT my answer. Yeah, it's up there but I definitely have changes to it I think would make it way better. Really, I'm a giant fan of Mexico in the World Showcase.

While I enjoy(ed) the future world pavilions, its honestly probably Mexico for me as well. Maybe Germany.

It used to be China but on my last visit back in January, I just really fell in love with France. So much to explore in the little marketplace, so many interesting details to take in. And though I don't think it's a fantastic ride, Remy's plaza adds a lot of good ambience to it.

Impressions de France is one of the single greatest things to experience at the whole resort and it drives me absolutely mad that they only show it in the morning and at night and for most of the day it's that Beauty and the Beast sing-along.

Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain was an otherworldly experience for me. I'm a religion teacher by trade, and I use it in class as one of the proofs of God's existence. It's an incredible experience.
Does the pretzel loop on Tatsu feel like it's gonna rip your face off as much as it does on the Superman flyers?

Because if so I need to get on it expeditiously.

I've not been on the Superman clones, but I can say that it's definitely more intense than the one on Manta at SeaWorld Orlando. I think the really brilliant thing about Tatsu's layout is it doesn't really have a traditional first "big drop". Instead it spends the majority of the time high above the ground really letting you soak in that flying feeling. In the back of your head though, you KNOW that damn pretzel loop is coming, so it adds a major element of suspense even in the ride's most graceful moments. I really love the build up involved there.

For favorite Epcot attraction I've always been partial to Japan. It's got some of the best shopping in the whole resort, I love the little pond tucked in the corner, the drummers are among my favorite live entertainment, and Tepan Edo is legitimately one of the best meals I've ever had in my life (looking forward to going there for a late dinner on my Epcot day during the larger Epic Universe trip I have booked in December!)

Back when I was running Manor of Mysteries I had the idea for making the game a spiritual successor to 1986 where players would’ve created a single park land by land set in Australia. That brings about the question:

Now that Disney has parks in California, Florida, Japan, France, China, Hong Kong, and soon to be UAE (maybe) where should the next Disney resort be built?

It's a bigger loop, so it rips your face and smashes it against the ground! It's fantastic.

But the best part, what sets it apart from the Supermen, is the location. On top of the mountain, seeing the horizon flip, diving down into the trees...it's otherworldly!

We were this close to doing Magic Mountain during our DL trip but we chose Knott’s instead. I need to get there someday soon. I need to do Tatsu, Twisted Colossus, and X2 so bad.

X2 is completely bonkers. Probably the last time I was genuinely terrified on a roller coaster because I had no idea what was going on. Twisted Colossus is great as well!

I need to make it out to Japan one day for multiple reasons, but one of the big reasons is to ride the other iteration of X2’s ride system that is apparently even more unhinged. Think its called Eginika.
