I've seen every single closing since Great Movie Ride on livestream, and it never fails to impress me how wild the crowds get as the end of the attraction gets close. Right now the crowd is even reciting "Hey! hey! I'm free! Taaaaxiiii!!"

It started with people shouting all the funny lines, then rapidly evolved so now people are pretty much just doing the entire script.

Line's no longer going to Galaxy's Edge, just the regular outdoor extended queue. If they can churn through that quick I can imagine the last show will probably be aroune 10:30ish

I’m happy for people in the moment, but this is like the worst way to experience it for me personally. I despise folks that quote attractions / shows / preshows etc

I know tonight’s a different vibe but still I’d be a tiny bit irked inside if I was there

Wrist bands said to return at 10, guess could hold them a couple of cycles but probably will have to cut the line relatively soon

Kinda have to go in knowing tonight would be atypical. If wanting a standard experience should go a day or two before

But in general it does annoying to hear people reciting lines

Statler: Hey Waldorf, did you hear the news?
Waldorf: No, what's the news?
Statler: Muppet Vision 3D is closing today for the final time, and I got to say, I actually quite glad it is!
Waldorf: Really? Why so?
Statler: It means we finally get to leave this theatre once and for all!
S&W: Dohohohoho!!!

Oh and RIP Muppet Vision 3D, you'll be missed

I normally hate them, too, but when it's the entire theater it's feels less like "that inconsiderate jerk who is ruining it for everyone" more like "we all love this show so much we're all taking part together". Everyone is cheering like crazy, too. It's a really unique experience.

To each their own, of course. I understand why someone would be very annoyed.

“It’s a celebration of MuppetVision, but mostly Jim Henson” tonight…

Tonight is extremely bittersweet, as let us all remember that Jim Henson wanted Disney to carry on his legacy and the Muppet characters long after he was gone.
It was the reason he considered and eventually sold the rights to this large part of his life’s work.
He entrusted Disney at the time to carry that torch into the future.

Tonight, that torch is being snuffed out…as far as Park Experiences go.
Sorry, a roller coaster overlay doesn’t cut it.
Jim and his work deserve better.

Him and Richard Hunt are the biggest losses tonight. There's truly no way the new Muppet cast can live up to the golden 4 of Jim, Dave, Frank, and Richard.
