One of those shows is embarrassingly awful and the other is almost as old as Muppets and vastly inferior. Putting those facts aside, neither operates with anything like the frequency or eats the crowds like Muppets.
I didn't say I liked it, I said that would be their argument. On a hot summer day, I'm going inside anyway just to cool off.

There have been some great turn outs for finality in the past, and there are modern community and social news variables that habe this well attended...

But wow. I have never seen something so not ready to close ahen it draws final crowds like this.

I didn't go there often because of the crummy hours and lack of drink refills, but I enjoyed it. The theming alone was pretty special; the banquet hall is hilarious and I always got a kick out of the sayings on the trash cans ("your ma don't work here; pick up after yourself!").

It was nice having a place that serves mushroom pizza, too; that's my favorite topping.

And from my understanding behind the scenes drama prevents more appearances of Rizzo, who I personally enjoyed a lot. So it's sad to see him lose a prominent spot in the park.

(Posted, for the last time, from inside PizzaRizzo.)

Not that it helps for this park, but Pizza Moon at Epic has a very good mushroom pizza (well, very good for theme park pizza)

I enjoy how this is becoming a tradition during Disney closures (happened for Splash and Rama, too). They've definitely got a nice photo of their nicest water feature with a snarky line ready for when they close Rivers of America.

It would be a strange snip considering there will still be a lot of water in the new Cars area.

While it’s unfortunate MV3D is closing, if crowds were always like this, it wouldn’t be closing. Reality is it was constantly a walk on and rarely half-full. Shifting it to Sunset Showcase after Villains would give less capacity, but mean shows felt more full each time.

I’m glad I left when I did - I liked waiting a little longer than usual but I didn’t need to wait that long! Haha.

Not exactly…. It’s got to be doing better numbers than Pixar shorts.

Those photos Steve posted get me emotional. So many core memories with late family members. So much care and detail in that theatre, while deep down we all know whatever comes next won't come close to those kinda details, design, and craftsmanship. Enjoy the night those who are there!

It’s not as if the monsters show that this will be replaced with is going to pull much larger crowds

They're going to have to close the queue at some point prior to the proper closing time, right? They can't do the "so long as you're in before close you ride" rule when the line is so long and they promised the last show to people? The line is moving fast, but at this point they would still end up pushing the last show pretty late.
