DHS MuppetVision 3-D's Future: Potential Disney Park Venues and Vision Pro Immersive Experience

Assuming the prompt for the Sully and Mike one was something like 'put Mike and Sully for Monsters Inc in front of MuppetVision 3D with hard hats on' and there are thousands of images of the front of Muppet Vision and the Piggy fountain online, I would've hoped that Piggy wouldn't be turned into Ree Yees from Star Wars in a robe and on a weird pedestal or the building front would look like the actual building beyond being made of bricks. But as an artist (musician) with many artist friends, I'm already pretty predisposed to not like AI produced art.
"Mike and sulley starting construction in Muppets courtyard at Hollywood studios"

Agreed 100% that its scary for all jobs. The budget bill in the senate bans all restrictions on AI for 10 years. That's terrifying.

I didn't go there often because of the crummy hours and lack of drink refills, but I enjoyed it. The theming alone was pretty special; the banquet hall is hilarious and I always got a kick out of the sayings on the trash cans ("your ma don't work here; pick up after yourself!").

It was nice having a place that serves mushroom pizza, too; that's my favorite topping.

And from my understanding behind the scenes drama prevents more appearances of Rizzo, who I personally enjoyed a lot. So it's sad to see him lose a prominent spot in the park.

Any ideas as to why the attraction closes today, but then the cast member farewell is on the 10th? I wonder why they didn’t just leave it open for the public until then.

It’s been suggested it could have kept operating for longer but once mermaid and Villians opened they didn’t need muppets for operations. Not sure if that’s true but the 3d show could have certainly operated longer since they have to literally build a coaster and a building for it.

One of those shows is embarrassingly awful and the other is almost as old as Muppets and vastly inferior. Putting those facts aside, neither operates with anything like the frequency or eats the crowds like Muppets.
I didn't say I liked it, I said that would be their argument. On a hot summer day, I'm going inside anyway just to cool off.

There have been some great turn outs for finality in the past, and there are modern community and social news variables that habe this well attended...

But wow. I have never seen something so not ready to close ahen it draws final crowds like this.

Not that it helps for this park, but Pizza Moon at Epic has a very good mushroom pizza (well, very good for theme park pizza)

I enjoy how this is becoming a tradition during Disney closures (happened for Splash and Rama, too). They've definitely got a nice photo of their nicest water feature with a snarky line ready for when they close Rivers of America.

It would be a strange snip considering there will still be a lot of water in the new Cars area.

While it’s unfortunate MV3D is closing, if crowds were always like this, it wouldn’t be closing. Reality is it was constantly a walk on and rarely half-full. Shifting it to Sunset Showcase after Villains would give less capacity, but mean shows felt more full each time.
