Trip Report Bibbidi Bobbidi Bump

Okay y'all... I have been putting off starting this TR because I know it is going to be a good while before we return to WDW and it just makes me feel SO SAD. But.. Hoping that reliving this awesome babymoon trip will cheer me up.

So, here we go!

When: May 3-7, 2025
Where: Pop Century
Who: me (Annie) and my husband (Ian)
Why: our babymoon for our second baby girl due in September!

My 3-year-old, Nora, stayed home with my parents and our dog Gus and was pretty jealous lol. We definitely got some comments from folks about us going without her... but I truly have NO idea when we will get a trip just us two again, so I knew this was what I wanted!

Another warning if you didn't read my updates on my last TR about this one.. I am a pregnant lady who rides rides. I basically skipped out on Tron, Space Mountain, and a few others that made me a little worried. And guess what? Me and baby are a-okay.

Anyway... let's do this!!

Today was our half AK day! With plans for the After Hours event that evening. Originally, our entire trip was planned just to attend After Hours, but Ian ended up adding on the rest of the park time eventually

We didn't really rush it, but still made it to AK prior to the start of Early Entry.

It was shaping up to be a beautiful day. At home in Maine, it rained the ENTIRE TIME we were gone which made the trip feel EXTRA worthwhile.

We were heading to Everest first as we usually do, so lined up here with a small group of other parkgoers.

Ian rode twice before tapping out to head to another farewell.

This farewell is sad mostly because of our annual photo op and less about the ride itself

We had time to kill before our ILL for FoP, so we just had a leisurely stroll.

We took some pictures, had to get my park bump photo!

Then we said, why not meet Minnie and Mickey while we have time?!

I HATE not only the photobox here but the lighting is sooooooo bad. Our Photopass pictures were meh and the ones the CM took on my phone were not much better.

I do like this one though!

Time for FoP!

It had been a number of trips since we had been able to do FoP so it was worth the spend.

Next up was one of our absolute AK faves, FotLK.

After another great performance, the time had come for our safari LL.

We had a great safari this time around with the animals being relatively active.

One of the elephants was putting on a good show for us.

We had a Kali River Rapids LL next but we were HOT and hungry so decided to get our usual lunch before heading out for our afternoon break.

If you have read my TRs before, you may know we ALWAYS get Flame Tree BBQ for lunch at AK. We sat down by the water this time.

Pulled pork mac and cheese as usual! We miss the big onion rings, but it is still delicious.

Full and ready for a break, we headed out of the park to our bus back to Pop.

My goal: pool time and a frozen mocktail.

My drama at the bar:

Me: is it possible to get the Pina Colava virgin?
CM: yes of course (makes it, hands it to me, tells me its $16)
Me: (shocked but like... I guess it's Disney so whatever) *pays it* but asks for clarity ONE MORE TIME if there is alcohol in it
CM: well YEAH it's a Pina Colava
............................... okay.
Lot's of drama and refunding and I eventually got my mocktail

We had plenty of time for relaxing and napping because After Hours at MK did not start until 10 PM with an entry time of 7 PM so we were in no rush.

We did some swimming, lounging, reading and just truly soaked it all it for hours before getting ready for our evening adventure. We caught a bus to MK around 6 with plans to grab some QS dinner at the Poly before entering the park.

Our plan was to head to the Poly by boat, but we JUST missed it so headed to the monorail instead.

After a quick journey, we arrived! It always feels like home here

Ian ordered some chicken tenders while I went with the flatbread.

Both were SOOOO yummy. We ate inside because it was BOILING hot. It was already 7, but we were not in a hurry to go sweat our butts off with a long night ahead of us.

We made our way down to the Poly beach.

We made our way to the dock to finally get in that boat ride.

This was our first walk down Main Street of the trip so we had big smiles on our faces despite the heat.

Time for the MK bump pic!

Ian was stressed about me wearing this athletic dress because it does NOT hide my bump at all and as you know - this gal is here for the rides. It truly was not a problem even once lol

Our first stop was a must do for Ian, he had not seen the new Country Bears yet!

And what did he think?

He loved it, as do I!

We had a little bit of time before HEA, so when we saw Jungle Cruise at a 30 minute wait, we went for it.

Except, it took way longer than that. And we were sandwiches between two groups of younger friends who were JUST AWFUL. The guy in front of me was gnawing on a turkey leg so grotesquely and loudly and in my face the WHOLE TIME. And they were all just inconsiderate and annoying as all get out. It made the longer wait that much more painful.

By the time we got off, there were only 8 minutes until HEA. We rushed off to the hub and this was the best possible view we could manage.

I took maybe 3 pictures because the spot wasn't great anyway, but then just enjoyed with Ian and naturally both of us teared up like the saps we are.

With STILL time until After Hours, we decided to prioritize Tiana's because it would not be operational during the event. The wait was around 30 minutes, and we exited right at event start time!

Up first, Pirates!

Our photo was an attempt at pointing at my bump... fail lol

We then wanted some of our included treats. We grabbed a couple ice cream sandwiches, waters, and popcorn!

Once we had our fill, we headed over to Haunted Mansion. It was a walk on. Never got our picture though!!

We kept it moving from there to Small World and happily sang along.

Upon exiting Small World, we discovered that Enchantment was in progress.

Ian had never been behind the castle for any fireworks, so he was loving the new view!

We grabbed another picture before getting on Peter Pan.

And as we exited, they were still wrapping up!

Our next stop was at Mine Train which is usually one of the longer waits during After Hours but because the fireworks were happening, we walked right on!

HUGE line by the time we finished though.

This is the only picture I have at Pooh, because upon entering the line after this I somehow lost balance and completely fell to the ground. I was mortified. So so embarressed and then worried about the baby and ahhhh

Ian made me feel better but come on.. I was thinking: I ride roller coasters but I can be trusted to keep my baby safe at POOH?!

Yikes.

Putting my bruised tailbone and ego aside, we did teacups next.

Then headed over to speedway, we like this MUCH better in the evening. We even decided to ride together which we never do!

As close to Tron as we will get this trip.

It was high time for another included snack. More popcorn, freshly popped, a soda and a frozen fruit bar!

We snacked on these for a bit before a spin on the People Mover.

While in the area, we decided to have a round of friendly competition.

We took this picture for Nora. She wants to be Buzz for Halloween this year (as of this week, check back with me next week for her new obsession lol)

I lost, as usual. BTW - I am excited for the updates coming to Buzz - it needs it.

Up next, we decided to do another fave of Nora's - Barnstormer!

And couldn't leave the area without visiting Dumbo.

We ended our evening with Ariel.

I told Ian to wave and he didn't understand why. I said just do it, it's for @Tuvalu and the rest of my TR friends!! He obliged.

After Hours was officially over by the time we exited, and we made our way to the front of the park feeling like we really accomplished SO MUCH.

Bye MK, we will see you one more time on this short trip!

We LOVE After Hours and they are so worthwhile for us. It makes our other time at MK more slow paced and relaxed as well because we aren't rushing around to do everything.

We got back to Pop LATE and crashed so fast. Ian still wanted to rope drop Epcot the next day, so this pregnant lady needed SLEEP.

Did he think cast members would stop you or that people would stick their nose in where it doesn’t belong? Me personally, I would simply assume the pregnant lady talked to her doctor as to what she should or shouldn’t do.

Both, I think! People say the most out of hand things to pregnant women. I had a cashier tell me today that I look like a cow which is WILD to say to anyone PERIOD.

I never make assumptions about people’s bodies. You don’t know. Unless they’re wearing an “I’m pregnant, please ask me about it!” shirt, that’s not my business. But if they are, I want ALL the details! So glad you had such a great night!

Epcot day!

I woke up feeling VERY much the pregnant lady I am lol BUT we had plans to rope drop so rope drop we will.

We made it to the Skyliner just as they started running for the day.

Our RD plan was for Frozen, as we had ILLs booked for Guardians later in the day.

We soaked in all the F&G beauty as we walked along.

We just really weren't in much of a rush, so I want photo happy along the way.

Next pic was for Nora, biiiiiig Moana fan.

It was already getting SO hot as we made it around the other side of World Showcase.

This is where we ended up in line awaiting Early Entry to begin. Not bad considering our leisurely pace!

Ian and I played Eye Spy while we waited remembering how we taught Nora how to play during our last trip in December

We were on in about 10 minutes.

I was successful at my bump pointing pose, unlike my Pirates picture lol

Another great RSVLTS shirt for Ian on this day.

And of course of Epcot version of the bump photo.

We were headed to Soarin' next!

We made it on Soarin' in only about 15 minutes, not too shabby!

Next, we walked right on to LWTL.

I loveee this Tangled tower.

We were starving so stopped for a quick snack next (our usual)

We couldn't seem to shake the feeling that someone/thing was watching us though.....

It was time at this point for our Guardians ILL. On the way, Ian had me take a video of him dancing in this area for Nora. He took her there in December when I was riding Guardians and had a father daughter dance party! My mom said she got a real kick out of the video.

We ended up with Everybody Wants to Rule the World, not a bad get IMO. And always fun no matter the song!

Up next: LL for Spaceship Earth. Actually, it had been scheduled for earlier, but had been down for a quite awhile.
