Just went to Knott’s for the first time. Fun little park, I think I enjoyed Hangtime and Silver Bullet the most out of the coasters. The Calico Mine Ride and the log flume were cool, I liked seeing where the inspiration for rides like Pirates and Splash Mountain came from.
Mine Train also inspired IJA's layout as well as Disney's idea of the concealed queue.

Those are the ones I pretty much do when I'm there. If Jaguar is a walk on I'll do that too. I don't like Excellerator or the drop tower. Return to the Fair needs a referb badly.

Excellerator is an amazing coaster. One of the last remaining hydraulic launch coasters left. That launch is so intense.

If it had more coaster attached to it, I'd support it. But its just launch up, and down and coast to the station. The tophat should be the start of the coaster, not the entire coaster. This would prevent it from being as one-note as it is and would allow more trains to operate, increasing capacity.

I wouldn't mind if Xcellerator was replaced with a different coaster or a completely new immersive-type land and attraction. I can dream. That top hat coaster is fairly rare.

I’ve said it before but for me due its location Silver Bullet is the one that needs to go for a family friendly themed attraction/ weenie.

Yup, couple of summers during weekends on fireworks in the mid 90s. Back in the days when they had a paddlewheel and the train went around the lake.

I didn’t even know that area was a lake until recently. Replacing it with concrete and a giant steel coaster at the front of the park was certainly a choice. A choice I don’t think the more recent executives at Knotts of the last 10+ years would have made.

That is why there is a drawbridge over rocks now. The Walter Knott paddlewheel would cross there. The Camp Snoopy train would have to wait for the paddlewheel.

This entire area was water. Jaguar used to go over water. The Church of the Reflection was next to it. They moved the church over toward Soak City. Silver Bullet screwed up that entire area. Now its big ugly area.
