I did a screen cap and posted from my phone. Its possible.... However its an image though, assuming its a screenshot using snippet or another tool based on the fact there are no borders and such that would indicate a normal pic from a phone. So that makes it seem like it was a screen grab from a desktop rather than a phone, or at the very least was edited on the phone directly before uploaded. So it seems its more intentional than unintentional, especially given who posted it.
But yes you are correct it could be just the default size.
Ok, but you know you can resize even on your phone before posting right? Because it even looked large on my iPhone 16 Pro Max.I did a screen cap and posted from my phone.
…guess that “new avengers” gimmick didn’t work?
Images that look the same size on my phone can look wildly different in scale on my laptop. Perhaps those who are technologically savvier know how to get around this issue, but I for one don't.Ok, but you know you can resize even on your phone before posting right? I just posted a screen cap from my phone and resized it right on the phone, and you should see it look good even on the phone.

How would I know I need to resize it? This is how it looks on my phone (note the “dark mode”):Ok, but you know you can resize even on your phone before posting right? Because it even looked large on my iPhone 16 Pro Max.

YepSplitting hairs,
Posting spoilers is very childish.
Quick lesson in RTEs (Rich Text Editors) for phones, if the image is as wide as your text its going to show up huge on any other browser. You can also tell because of the image size, in case your image is 1125x2202 basically that means it'll be long and wide across the screen because that translates to the number of pixels used to display the image, 1200x800 is usually a standard size for best displaying on most screens whether phone or desktop, as it'll be a long but not as wide image. Long story short once you get beyond an 800 width it starts to require scrolling unless you have a wide screen. I would even make it like 900x800, so its a bit easier on the eyes, but that is just personal preference. I think the image I just posted earlier was like 1200x1100, and you can see that was displaying fine on a phone.
Happy to help those less technically inclined.…thanks for the important tip, Mr cook
It’s just courteous to post smaller images so it displays best on all displays. Having a tech background I’m just aware of it more because I post and edit on many different devices and have worked with many different technologies since the beginning of the internet basically.I put no extra effort into pics here. Whatever size it is, it is. 90% posted from my phone.
That's fine. I think it's when people start reading ill intent into such things that we're in trickier territory.Just don’t be surprised when someone comments on a post that your image looks huge.![]()
Is this a thing? It’s just courteous to post smaller images so it displays best on all displays. Having a tech background I’m just aware of it more because I post and edit on many different devices and have worked with many different technologies since the beginning of the internet basically.
