It also includes the creepy "new" Mickey and Minnie. Not interested in anything about MMRR. Sorry, not sorry. It's a throwaway ADD-fest of an attraction which needlessly replaced a classic.

I find them charming. I love the shorts they feature in and I love this ride!It also includes the creepy "new" Mickey and Minnie.
I'm not a fan of the animation style, but for me, it's the best trackless ride in WDW.After spending more time looking back at Railway recently, I can confidently say that it's my favorite ride again. I figured that it would be appropriate to share those stories yesterday for its 5th birthday!
Hogwash. I'm on Great Movie Ride right now. What the heck have yall been talking about for 370 pages? So the rumor is confirmed, then -- M&MRR is really going in?

Some people on this forum are still liking this post... I'd like to update... My opinion on this attraction has changed since its opening. It has grown on me...Point being, I think it's ridiculous that any of you are defending a lazy slapped attraction with a "BuT WHicH ROw DiD yOu SIt In?" question.
It shouldn't matter. Simple as that. The attraction is not that good as a result.
It’s a good fit for studios….. in the el Capitoon not the Chinese theatre. The only gripe I have with it that has been consistent since opening, is 1). Wrong park and 2). Replaced Great Movie Ride.
Do we know if the cast member hand print wall from GMR survived this building renovation?
It works better going from the real world into the cartoon world than already being in the cartoon worldIt’s a good fit for studios….. in the el Capitoon not the Chinese theatre.
That’s an interesting point…. I prefer the one in California but I hadn’t thought about walking into the cartoon world from the “real” Chinese theatre. It works better going from the real world into the cartoon world than already being in the cartoon world

I won’t argue that the queue is not great at DL, it’s a ton of classic props and references vs a few coming soon posters in a theater lobby. I do like the effect of DHS’ version though and always think the Chinese theatre is a great weenie for DHS.I agree that it works better conceptually but does it work better in practice? Like does having that human to toon world transition outweigh the superior queue at Disneyland?
The Chinese Theatre was a great weenie before it had MMRR inside of it. They could have created a great El Capitoon Theatre facade for Animation Courtyard.I won’t argue that the queue is not great at DL, it’s a ton of classic props and references vs a few coming soon posters in a theater lobby. How does the ride it contains affect whether it’s a weenie or not?The Chinese Theatre was a great weenie before it had MMRR inside of it.
