People have every right to not like it, nor attend.
But I do hope people can at least post honestly, and not post photos meant to mislead or push a narrative.
The idea was to make use of a space that would have otherwise been empty and closed.
I don’t care whether it’s loved or hated. What I dislike is the attempt to frame this as some type of great achievement worthy of media previews and have influencers whose media access depends on a glowing review tell us how great this thing is.

It's no more critical to just be negative everything with little care as to whether you are accurately representing it than it is to just be positive about everything regardless of its actual quality.
This is what gets irritating about a lot of these discussions. I honestly do understand some of the criticisms that have come up around this promotion, including the elimination of indoor activities that used to exist at Epcot. Of course, there's also plenty of room to disagree. However, these discussions get so swamped in the forum equivalent of YouTubers hyping everything up who are basically their mirror opposites that it becomes hard not to feel that things like this are not that bad after a while.

As an isolated incident, this ISN’T that bad. It’s pathetic and cheap, but it’s a very minor issue in the grand scope of things, a misstep worthy of a bemused shake of the head and little more.
But…
This isn’t an isolated incident. It’s part of a very long string of mistakes and underwhelming offerings and it embodies much of the deeply flawed thinking that has proven detrimental to the park. It needs to be put in the context of the elimination of a huge number of indoor family offerings that used to define Epcot (as you said), the brutal slashing of entertainment over decades, the longterm refusal to build family attractions in favor of extremely brief thrill rides, the focus on IPs, the frequent reliance on meet n greets and “dance parties” as a substitute for actual attractions, the myopic obsession with a very limited range of IPs and characters, the refusal to respond meaningfully to the opening of Epic, the constant closure of great attractions and refusal to meaningfully increase capacity, and the systemic problems at the corporate level that perpetuate ALL of this.
This is cheap, stupid, and, on in its own, inconsequential. If it was offered in 1995 it would be an amusing footnote. But the refusal to consider it in the proper context is part of a pattern from some posters (you are certainly not one of these) of constantly ignoring any history or facts that might reflect poorly on Disney.
If you believe this is the best the Disney can do, then that’s fair enough.
If you don’t think it’s the best, why are you excusing it?

I think its a very smart move to fill in the space they were given. Do I wish the space was built better in the first place? Of course. But with the limitations in the space, they made a fun interactive thing that kids can enjoy. They took classic games that every kid knows and had a fan favorite character 'host' the game and play with the kids. I think thats a great initiative and hopefully a sign of things to come. Rising tides. More entertainment like this can help the ride lines stay just a bit shorter as these were people who would be in some ride line now being entertained in a different way that is easily accessible by most.

They actually reduced entertainment hours in Animal Kingdom for this promotion.
"Songs You'll Dig" isn't offered anymore and is gone from the app, there's only the singalong.
I don't know why the first one doesn't have any age tags (everything else does/did), but either they had something for all ages that they narrowed to just small kids, or they had something that skewed older and changed it to a different demographic with no replacement. Either way, sucks.

I think I’m gonna repost this every single time someone says the parks are mobbed…based on bad word of mouth from outlets we’ve all seen.
There wouldn’t have been any people anyway…
And you know why? I was in the park that day as well. It was literally a joke.
Someone please come to the tequila bar with me the next time I’m there?…I walked in and the place was creepy empty

So I am not nessesarily endorsing this product, but I went over to Communicore Hall earlier yesterday to check out the presentation at ‘GoofyCore’.
Ya know, it might not be for me or other adults….but I have to tell you all that everyone I saw there for that particular showing was smiling ear to ear.
Everyone was having a great time dancing and playing games with Goofy - adult Guests, the kiddos, Cast, …everyone.
It was actually really nice to see.
They all seemed to be loving it and having the time of their lives.
The interior design was crazy colorful with a fun new rug for the event, plug lighting effects for the different games.
The best part for me was stepping outside however and being given two big bags of gummy candy by a CM.
Free giveaways…yay!
So despite my own opinions on this, and how some of us might moan about this kid stuff….and marketing fluff….i have to say this -
From what I saw today, Guests loved it.
I seriously saw some real family bonding moments, with families having fun together.
Uncle Walt kinda wanted that, yes?
As a temporary thing, it seems to work for the current crowd.
Let em’ have a bit o’ fun.
