When I worked at Pop I once had someone ask if we "gave discounts" for employees of particular property. I thought I misheard them, and ask them to repeat what they said, because of course we give standard Cast Member discounts on rooms to people who work at Epcot Centre. No I hadn't misheard. They asked me "do you give any discounts for people who work at Epic?" No we do not, I told her. Two separate companies, and not always the friendliest at the lower levels operationally, so unless there was some kind of secret program I wasn't made aware of, no chance. She asked for a manager so I grabbed one of my FSAs, and when he gave the same answer ("absolutely not"), she asked to speak to a GEM who told her the same thing. (Side note that GEM would always get annoyed that we would grab him to do his job... "It's not my job" he would say to dealing anything with guests, especially if we didn't go through our FSAs first - God forbid they were busy, backstage, or dealing with administrative matters like the frequent issues with CDS.) Then she walked off without looking too happy, but I couldn't help but find it the weirdest and most hilarious thing I dealt with for quite some time.It isn't.
People get DL and MK/WDW mixed up quite often.
People look for the Potter rides at WDW.
