Go for something from the vintage / opening day collection. Such cool stuff!

Is this what they re referring to as the vault collection? I think the white hat I bought is part of that collection? Of course I saw the original version on eBay and instead of the letters being printed on they were embroidered onto the hat. The replica is still cool though.

This string of great trips continue. Yesterday was blissfully not crowded. I’m guessing due to being more of a travel day with people getting to where they re going for the long weekend and imagine passes being blocked out. Weather was fantastic and got my daughter on RSR, BTMRR (x2) and Star Tours for the first time. She loved RSR/ BTMRR. All smiles throughout. Fantasyland was full of walk ons in the mid afternoon. She was indifferent with Star Tours. I’m seeing simulators aren’t her thing.

Did the exact opposite of what I said I was going to do and bought that DL souvenir 70th key instead of the magic band. Wasn’t planning on it but as I was checking out at the emporium to buy my 70th magnet my son brought it to the register and decided he wanted to purchase it with his first communion money he got last week which he conveniently left at home. 🤔. It was a fun little activity to add to the day and pretty much no lines at most of the stations. The kids love it as it lights up all different colors and plays a bunch of park songs/ sounds. He got the Space Mountain pin! Which is probably my second favorite aesthetically after the Mark Twain. Glad we didn’t get the hunny pot haha.

Had a pleasant lunch at Carnation even if Patty Melt wasn’t at its best and New Beef Stroganoff was just ok. Walt’s Chili is actually pretty good. Watched the cavalcade go by. Ambiance is always great. Overall the park has a nice energy right now.

Castle flame throwers still have not returned for wondrous, I wonder if they are still on the roof or have been taken away?
Apparently, the castle flamethrowers have been thrown away and moved to other nighttime shows (like 2024 version of F! and WOC: One and Happiness). Not sure why it was removed but it may happen because of safety precaution resulted from April 2023 Fantasmic! dragon fire. As the replacement, they feature an new fireworks (apparently taken from B-mode version) during Mirabel scene.

As for reminder, performance of Halloween Screams since 2023 and Together Forever in 2024 remove fire effects of its entirely due to same reason.

No, the flame throwers at Fantasmic and WoC are different systems from what was on the rooftops of Fantasyland.

I think there were some recent aerials of the castle and FL roofs and the flame throwers are gone and been removed.

At this point almost 2 years later it’s probably not coming back ever and a defunct effect now, sadly.

The projections on the Sleeping Beauty castle have been broken (or disabled) for over 5 days now. Was last seen working last Tuesday 5/20.

If this keeps up we're soon gonna have more days of WJ being broken than working since the show came back this year for the 70th.

This is bad show at this point, but there is a backup B-mode with some basic lights. Although the castle pretty much stays a blueish purple color in the finale...somewhat uninspiring..
At least there's 2 other spots to see the main complimentary projections along RoA and IASW.

Also the vertical comets (castle pyro) have been missing in the finale song for the past couple days..

Tonight's livestream, timestamped at pooh finale:

I saw Fantasmic on 5/16. I was pleasantly surprised about the projections of WJ onto the water and the Tom Sawyer shed afterward. Sure, they're not on the castle but I felt like I was watching the full show along with the fireworks.
