Muppets never did pull well at DCA though. And that entire backlot is heavily rumored to be tipped for Avatar.
Nothing says "California" like the entirely fictional planet of Pandora!

At least you could argue that Pixar and Big Hero 6 both work as lands because they're both based in/on (respectively) San Francisco, Cars is inspired by Route 66 and California car culture, and Avengers... well, the land is set in California, so at least... eh. Still feels more natural for the park than Pandora.

My guess is that once Avatar comes online in 2029-2030, DCA will get a full rebrand dropping the California moniker. Think Disney Cinematic Adventure.

I've always thought "Disney CineMagic Park" would be a good name for a movie IP park. Knowing modern Disney though, they're probably gonna shove "Story" or "Adventure" in there since those are their two favorite buzzwords.

"Disney's Storytelling Adventure"? "Disney Story Adventure"? "Disney Story World"? Something dumb like that.

No it's not. It's sponsored by the Site that Shall Not Be Named.
To be fair, not everyone knows what sites are banned from being posted or even mentioned. A lot of people don't partake in website wars. I know I personally visit multiple sites, and I'm friends with people who work at other sites despite working at the "Site that Shall Not Be Named" (it's a bit extreme you can't even type out the acronym imo, but I don't know the story behind the ban nor do I really care to learn it since there's no changing it I'm sure). Same goes for a lot of my coworkers and people who work at other sites. I know some people take the competition very seriously and will ban mention of certain sites (the Disney World subreddit has banned so many sites, including the one I work for, for reasons as petty as posting rumors despite putting "RUMOR" in all caps in the title and reiterating that what the article is talking about is a rumor. The site also banned Mickey Views not too long ago for the same reason iirc.)

To be fair, ask @wdwmagic. It's his site. Nothing "extreme" by not typing out the acronym either. His site. His rules. You disagree. Take it up with him. You wanted an answer? I gave you one.

No need to get so aggressive, I was just stating my thoughts, it wasn't a personal attack on you or wdwmagic. And like I said, I don't need to know because I wasn't involved, I was just stating my thoughts.

Also, you didn't give me any answers (but I didn't ask you any questions). Not sure why you're all mad dude, but I'm not trying to start an argument.

My honest expectation is that, at some point in the next few years, we'll have Disney Adventure World California and Disney Adventure World Orlando in place of California Adventure and Hollywood Studios. Why not create a franchise of franchise parks?

That's a really good point. Like how you have multiple Disneylands, you'll have three "Disney Adventure Worlds" throughout the world. Although at the same time, Disney loves their SEO, so I feel like it's also likely DCA/DHS get similar names to DAW but slightly different so each have a unique search term.

And when its all over, Adventure World Paris will still be the worst of the trio since the other two parks are probably in a better position to pull off the vague non-theme of "Classic Hollywood Premiere location branches out into the various adventure worlds."

Yeah not impossible. Still had their chances a bunch of times and they remain.

I agree, but I also think that the mindset of the company during the most notable expansions/renovations - 2012 for DCA and 2019 for DHS - was very different from the mindset that led to Adventure World in Paris. I think a name change would be far more likely today, and I figure the combination of Avatar, Coco, and the Avengers Campus expansion could be a catalyst for a more complete rebrand of California Adventure. The jury is definitely still out on Hollywood Studios.
