Oh, good. I was starting to worry they were never going to reopen Dino-Bites.

And the sing-along celebration is with the Dino-Institute intern:

Seems odd to have someone from a specific land hanging around Discovery Island on a regular basis, but some of those guys are amazing at improv, so this sounds like a really good idea, actually.

The Cool Kid Summer event guide is now live in the My Disney Experience app.

Here's a look at the menu for GRAB-N-GOOF, which appears to be taking the place of Festival Favorites at EPCOT and is set to open June 3:

Disney also notes the Phineas and Ferb meet-and-greet will be near the EPCOT Main Entrance.

[saying this in a completely joking manner]

Important lessons for kids to know if they want to be cool, they need to have a seasonal beer!

Nothing says Cool Kid Summer like a seasonal beer.

The cel animation themed colorful art overlay at Animation Courtyard is nice and colorful, but it seems a stark contrast for me considering the past history of that area.

Seeing it is a bit bittersweet because it reminds me of the brilliant Team Florida Animation department that used to be based in that area.

You know, the wing of Walt Disney Feature Animation that created the animated films ‘Lilo & Stitch’, ‘Mulan’, and ‘Brother Bear’ all in house.
Not to mention two of the three Roger Rabbit cartoon shorts…
Not to mention many other contributions to ‘renaissance’ era animated features.
Not to mention a unique walkthrough experience in itself back when it was operating as a ‘behind the scenes tour’.

Miss that place.
Miss those people.
A real shame it had to be shuttered.
The colorful artwork on the walls outside contrasts with the depressing reality of what an empty hole was left behind.
Wish one could indeed ‘Get Animated’ there today…

But I DO like the art.
Jazzes the place up a bit.

Interesting choice to reintroduce the “Animated” to “Animation Courtyard,” even if it’s a temporary measure. I’ve long thought the whole area should be renamed something like “Production Courtyard” as more of a catch-all.

Super minor comment but what’s with the rogue FLORIDA in the bottom right of the logo? Walt Disney World not enough to clarify where this is happening?
It isn't.

People get DL and MK/WDW mixed up quite often.

People look for the Potter rides at WDW.

Remember, by definition, half the population has a below average intelligence.
