Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

The first piece of concept art presented at D23 2022 did show live action characters mixed with animated ones. Plus there is a strong chance AID will be adaptable to whatever is current in the MCU.
Did they change their mind on that? I noticed the most recent concept art only has the live action avengers showing up. And even then it doesn’t look like any multiverse variants. So I’m wondering if they quietly cancelled the multiverse part of the ride last minute.

Of course maybe they haven’t showed it yet because they still haven’t decided on what multiverse stuff to put it (or they don’t want to spoil anything).

Also since Disney officially showed off a wakanda land as part of Disneyland forward, I wonder if that means there’s a chance we might get that avengers jetpack seat ride after all (although I highly doubt it). Lastly, any idea when they might show off more concept art/plans for the ride? I know the ride is still at least 2-3 years away but it would be nice to see more considering we have been waiting for it since 2019. I only ask because I know sometimes Disney will reveal more info at their big events, so maybe one is coming up soon so they could show off more?

Of course I also wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see or hear anything until like 2 months before the ride is about to open lol

Artist: Hey, boss. I'm supposed to show what all that new land will look like, so, what's going there?

Exec: We haven't a clue. Fill it with stuff we'll never do so we don't commit ourselves.

Artist: Like a Wakanda Land?

Exec: Perfect!!

August would be a good bet. The D23 event at WDW will probably have some news or artwork on all the current projects.

Thank you for the info! I really hope they show a decent amount off instead of them just saying:“it’s still coming guys!”. Of course it wouldn’t be surprising if they just don’t acknowledge it at all at that next event.

Sounds about right 😂. That’s why I didn’t get excited when they showed off the Disneyland forward concept art. Hell, even the lands they actually promise us still get heavily budget cut and changed for the worst. For example Disney was promising things like roaming alien actors and droids, a 3rd ride, etc. And it all got cancelled without them acknowledging: “hey we cancelled this”.

That’s also why I regret letting myself get excited for avengers campus. They tried to save themselves by teasing us with the quinjet jetpack ride. But even that got delayed and cancelled for like 5 years. For the multiverse rides I have low expectations/excitement. I hope Disney knocks it out of the park but I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out to be terrible or just “meh”.
