If Paint the night stops running during holiday season, what other parade will run during halloween? I know they've got that Christmas parade, but would they just have no parade during sep-oct?

PTNs intro lighting should look better than ever since Disneyland had updated the route lighting since PTNs last run. MSEP was the first to use it.
Look back at that American Idol Pictures. iasw is lit up like it’s pained in pastels again, if they have special projections for iasw for PTN, willing to bet the castle and MSUSA will too.

Watching a livestream from Small World mall right now, the facade is lit up more or less normally which is annoying - wish they'd turn off the lights if they're not gonna add projections. Then again, it's the preview so it's possible the projections will be there by Friday. More likely though is that those projections are from the Tapestry of Happiness projection show that they threw on for the photo.

Some of the changes I'm noticing since the last run (will keep updating as I see them):
  • Intro: "To all who come to the happy place" replaces "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls."
  • Drum Float: Rosetta, Iridessa, and Silvermist are missing. There are also only 4 fairy dancers instead of 6. Tink's costume is modified (and glitchy - her costume wouldn't stay on for long from the livestream).
  • Cars: I think I only saw 6 Cars dancers instead of 7. Not sure.
  • Ariel/Nemo: There were 4 jellyfish spinners instead of 2 with Nemo.
  • Toy Story: Jessie's costume has been updated slightly; instead of the dangling light to light her face, there are 3 lights embedded in her hat brim.
  • Princesses: All 4 masquerade princess dancers have been cut from the princess section. This makes sense to me in that I'd heard these were among the more problematic costumes. The ballerinas that follow alongside the princess float have a slightly different costume. No more heart on their corset top.
  • Frozen: There are 3 snowflake dancers instead of 2, and their costumes are modified.
  • Finale: Celebrate Happy is used in place of Zip A Dee. The rope at the end of the parade is now a spinner of death.
4 dancers and 3 characters cut from the parade, which is disappointing but could be worse. I still wish we got the Incredibles float to make up for it.
