UAE now top contender for Epcot World Showcase expansion?

Morocco may not be as flourished as it once was, but the way it is now doesn't really make it different from say Italy or Germany. Italy has two restaurants, two stores but really that's it and a street performer. I love Morocco and it's not a waste to me.
My point was TDO has allowed the Morocco Pavilion to become the half-abandoned pavilion it currently is... botched remodel, shuttered restaurant , underused... forgotten... There is no reason this could not be an amazing pavilion again...
and honestly the "restaurant and shop" pavilions fail to be very engaging to the 2025 crowds... It needs some new exhibits...it needs it's vibrant souk, it needs it signature dining and it needs an attraction....

A brand new UAE expo style showcase indoor location; make the outside like you are entering one of their contemporary museums. Boom - easy!

A Brazil expansion is also so necessary too -- adding two new areas to the WS would be such a legacy boost for Iger too...
In 1999-2000 at Epcot Worldplace pavilion there was a food court with Brazil, Chile, Israel , South Korea CMs with live shows, merchandise , interactive games and videos. The one noticeable item is during the 3-4x a day live dance show of Israel cast showcasing modern music including their own homeland songs was a large number of Disney security cast in the perimeter of the audience area.

While i don't know it necessarily to be true, I'm hopeful we are a bit more understanding 25 years later -- not a bad idea on Disney's part though!

You missed out! I enjoyed the area many times especially with all the pavilion being in cold AC ! The Israel Dead Sea soap and bath crystals were very good products .
That would be the Millennium Village. Here's the map of what it looked like inside.

Ohh, Sydney was in the model of an older concept for Epcot's World Showcase. A replica of Sydney Opera House would've sat on the lagoon!
Even since AK was in the planning stages, it's always been more favored for AK than Epcot. It may have been modeled at some point as a pavilion, but so were, far as I know, a dozen other countries that never got a chance. Minimum. As much as I would have been fascinated to hear the Red Army Choir...

A waste? It has a kebab stand, a museum with 2 paintings, and an Aladdin meet and greet. And for one month a year, a passholder lounge.
Thats pretty bad and sad, nowhere near the original intent. They aren't even trying. The fact that they replaced original tiles with leftover tiles from 80s bathrooms for the fountain is telling. And removed the beautiful trees, did they return? Anyone know?

It needs a real attraction (ride)...the amount of draw that would have would also fill up the restaurants and create the need for a signature dining location and the return of an expanded souk...
They could write a new animated film based on the TDS Sinbad attraction and sort of rewrite the story to include a stop in Casablanca....though I know his travels were all east of Africa...then do a direct lift of the Sinbad attraction behind and to the side of the pavilion... if the signature dining location overlooks one of the ride scenes, all the better...
Of Course if they did a UAE pavilion it would easily fit there better....

You would think Australia would of been a perfect new expansion to Animal Kingdom a sort of desert style, which the Cars attraction for MK would suited here, a new home for Kangaroos. Since it doesn't have a recent IP Encanto turned this into Tropical America's with Indy!

I'm sure someone at WDI would relish the opportunity to make some Mad Max jokes with an Australian Cars attraction... Makes far more sense than removing TSI. Who am I kidding though, WDI would choose Bluey every time.
