DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I’m happy they’re putting in a monsters ride, but at the expense of an entire iconic part of Hollywood Studios, it just rings kind of counterproductive. I thought Disney World had all the land they’d ever need. A cast member told me once that there’s enough land left at Disney World to build everything they’ve already built all over again. Kind of blows me away that they ever feel the need to remove attractions when they have that much land.

Mama Melrose is olive garden quality. As an Italian it was a one and done for me. Via Napoli was much better but still not great.
It wasn’t that good. I don’t lament the loss of the quality…just that it was a sit down - which is what made Disney parks unique…

In a park that has been butchered basically since day 1…less offerings are not preferable

I’m confused if you don’t like their posting style why don’t put them on ignore ???
I’ve only ever had 1 on ignore…it just became too much

But it’s a discussion forum. Why ignore? I dob’t hate anyone to ignore them.

Plus in this case…I like the youth perspective. Doesn’t mean I’m gonna agree with “they should put Mickey toons on there…old stuff is stupid” 😎

I don’t think old stuff is stupid. See my critique of the removal of the rivers of America.
Sci fi is the kinda thing that makes them unique they don’t do any more

Point is don’t wish for them to get rid of That for more D+ cartoon overload.

The fact that they took out the movie ride next door to put the Mickey ride in instead of building a new show building on the edge of an underequipped park is enough

We were there last night simply because it is mother's day weekend and my DW wanted to eat here. Never did I want to be last, out of fear of them running out of stuff.

They did not have spaghetti, which was OK. I was more worried about the bread and olive oil. I wanted the full experience. They delivered on that, I think, minus the spaghetti (minor thing to us).

If you want the memories to last longterm…make sure you don’t go potty 🚽😉

12:17 pm on a Tuesday. No one is gonna miss this. Just like no one misses it in DL. Every visit it's a walk on. Every visit. Easy to see why it got axed.
