It's like how Berk wouldn't work nearly as well if the majority of dragons weren't physical. I think static figures in windows, maybe a Yeti AA near a snow cone stand, evil blue Mike Wazowski from the TV show (seriously look it up!) somewhere in the land as an AA, would be enough. I just want it to feel largely.... alive?I don’t think much of this land works without AA monsters. Screens are okay in windows as you’re walking, but I hope they learned from SWGE that a city needs citizens. As you suggest, many could be simple animated figures, though.

That outcome all depends on whether or not Disney learns the right lessons from Epic's Lands, more specifically Berk.I think people are setting themselves up for disappointment expecting multiple AAs in this land
I think it's likely we get an AA of sorts of the Yeti and Roz, the GA loves them too much to skip those. I'm just curious if Disney thinks other monsters justify an AA.I think people are setting themselves up for disappointment expecting multiple AAs in this land
Would love to be wrong though
I feel like “boo” needs an appearance somewhere as well.I think it's likely we get an AA of sorts of the Yeti and Roz, the GA loves them too much to skip those. I'm just curious if Disney thinks other monsters justify an AA.
Like, example: Berk! Cloudjumper has an AA, one of the main character dragons, Stormfly has a meet and greet because she's Astrid's dragon, Snow Wraith is a surprise because that's from a TV show can't say much there. They obviously gave the "big stars" AAs/more intricate stuff and left a bit of easter eggs in the land of other dragons fans would know.
But outside of the 23-19 orange fuzzy guy, does Monsters Inc have any characters that fall in "not a main character but people still know them" area that'd push Disney to make an AA?
I feel like most fans of the film would recognize Needleman and Smitty (they're even in the Laugh Floor, albeit only as a voice-over).But outside of the 23-19 orange fuzzy guy, does Monsters Inc have any characters that fall in "not a main character but people still know them" area that'd push Disney to make an AA?

its still a shame were not getting that ride in some form or the tokyo one, it would have been perfect here. Everything has to be the biggest highest tech now or they won't do it.........by the way any rumors regarding plans for pizzarizzo? Thats a large place there.Do we think they'll just use the Mike and Sulley to the Rescue figures?
I mean, it does have a replacement though. It was explicitly confirmed to.The characters of Monsters are special, but it is not a world people would just want to visit.
A perfect example of not everything needs to be an entire land.
We could have gotten the indoor coaster and still kept the all accessible well produced attraction that has no replacement.
…you really like to take blind stabs without the ole experience “thing” behind you, don’t cha?And the core experience would hardly change.
Hopefully it's a good sign that things will move quickly after MV3D closes.
Oh yeah…warp 9…no doubtIt certainly looks like we are going to see things move quickly, just like in DAK.
Is it really that hard to believe that restaurant where the main appeal is eating in a drive in theater would barely change if a few clips were switched around?…you really like to take blind stabs without the ole experience “thing” behind you, don’t cha?
