So what got from this is Elio is grieving from the deaths of his parents. He thinks he doesn't belong here. He doesn't fit in and is lonely. He wants to go someplace else. Depression? Suicide?

He is beamed to a colorful magical place (heaven) with lots of aliens. He makes friends with a warlord alien's son. Goes on an adventure and changes the warlord Father's heart.

I can see Pixar trying to tackle this subjects in a kid friendly way. The recent animated movie voiced by Rachel delt with devorse.
Potentially yes.

Wait, which recent animated movie are we talking about?

I was expecting a geeky kid that wants to travel the universe and thinks the only way to do it is by getting taken. I wasn't expecting the darker feelings to be the reasons.

Elio’a mom is in the movie. So at the very least he has one parent.

Man, the users from DVDizzy is being negative saying Elio will flop: https://dvdizzy.com/forum/viewforum.php?f I hope that’s not true. If it is, I guess it’s sequels and live action remakes forever.😢
I highly doubt the latter forever when Snow White bombed and Moana looks like it might underperform that it might make them stop.

Also, I doubt Elio cost $300M when The Good Dinosaur back in 2015 cost a little 59-67% less than that when it reworked its story.

I can’t really trust Jordan Ruimy when he still is pushing lies after claiming Captain America: Brave New World cost $350M to make, which was a lie as the trades said it cost $180M to make.

Don’t listen to those scum. They only want you to think negatively. Think positively or it will destroy your sanity, ruin your mental health, and make you got bat-**** ****ing crazy.

Seriously, @TsWade2, U. NEED. TO. STOP

Well, it seems #Elio himself Yonas Kibreab got wind of my word-spreading of the TV spot for #Elio that dropped last night and was real pleased with my efforts to spread awareness of it.

Thanks, Yonas Kibreab. 😊

One more trailer, the final trailer, for Elio coming next week.

Looks like Disney is really starting to believe in this movie and is marketing it like they need it to be a hit.

Checking Target. There are Stitch toys on the shelves. No traces of Elio stuff at retail. On the other hand, there rarely is Pixar toys for a new movie unless it is connected to Toy Story or Cars.

I don't shop brick and mortar much anymore, I shop online. And just doing a quick search I found Walmart had a toy, as do a couple other places including Funko -

Brick and mortar usually has less stuff than online. What they have listed is pretty generic stuff they do for every Disney line. My stores have no end caps for the movie. There is Stitch stuff however. I miss Toys R Us. Target and Walmart do terrible jobs at re-stocking their shelves.
