Paint The Night Parade Comes Back Next Year For DL’s 70th Anniversary

I can tell that they're different on close inspection, but this won't read to the average person. I just really hope that they've made the necessary changes to make the costumes not actively difficult for the performers so that the parade can run more sustainably.

Wonder why they changed Tinks costume? I guess that is an indication there could be other costume changes. Still curious about the soundtrack if they decided to change the intro narration and Zip in the finale.

The intro will probably be changed to “To all who come to this happy place” like Electrical Parade. Zip could be swapped with the anniversary song.

Do we have any rumors on PTN's Audio changes? And Confirmation we'll have PTN most if not all the remainder of 2025?

I didn't realize until now that "To all who come to this happy place" and "Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls" are the same number of syllables. So it wouldn't shock me that if they change the intro, they stick with that.

There have been no rumors about specific changes, just assumptions.

I believe outside of Holidays, ie Halloween (maybe Christmas?) PtN will run for the entirety of 2025 as confirmed by Disney. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Christmas/Halloween I believe it’s running based on the blog only showing WJ and WoC pausing for the season

It was a bit harder to find than I anticipated, since the original 70th announcement on the Parks Blog is gone. But the current version of the 70th page includes the following disclaimer verbiage:
Select shows, performances, and experiences, including parades and nighttime spectaculars, will temporarily pause to make way for seasonal entertainment offerings, then resume at later dates. Check the Disneyland app or Disneyland.com for entertainment schedules.

It's also worth noting that the Paint the Night Dining Package is only available through August 21st (by contrast, neither the Pixar Parade nor the WOC Happiness Dessert Parties currently show an ending date).

Hypothetically, it's possible that Disney doesn't yet know if it'll be running PTN or not during Halloween and Christmas and is opting to put a temporary closing date up until they make their final decision; however, given that Halloween starts on August 22, I read it to mean that there's a decent chance that Disneyland just isn't going to run PTN at all until after the holiday season is entirely over.

It'd be frustrating if true, but I suppose Disney might internally feel justified in this decision-making, that from their perspective, Halloween and Christmas don't really need any additional help to draw crowds, and that it's choosing to allocate it's resources so that they run all of the expensive 70th shows only when they're more likely to have an impact.

It’s from internet archive.

As of Dec. 5, it was only Wondrous and Better Together that would pause for Halloween and Christmas

What are the odds of it returning after Christmas? The 70th is running for one year right?
If it doesn't run during the holidays, it should return right after Christmas, there's no doubt about that. Naturally, Fri-Sun only at that point, as is typical for that time of year.

Ok, but even so, I don't know if we can 100% assume PTN will keep on chugging through Halloween and Christmas given the other evidence.

Yes, PTN has run during Christmas before. But Disney still seems to be in cost-cutting mode, and I will refrain from assuming until proven definitively otherwise.

While I will be happy to be proven wrong, I'm not going to just go by a single blog post that isn't even accessible anymore without minor internet sleuthing.

Sharp eyed nostalgic Disneyland fans will notice this poster design is directly inspired by the original 1972 poster artwork introducing the Main Street Electrical Parade -

See some similarity ….?
