Original poster probably meant they'd like a Marvel boat ride like Shanghai's Pirates.Exactly. So what is this Marvel boat ride that is being brought up?

Exactly. So what is this Marvel boat ride that is being brought up?
No. I think they’re talking about a marvel ride using the sunken treasure ride system.Shanghai Disneyland is getting a Marvel boat ride?
Isn't the Avatar ride supposedly using this system? No. I think they’re talking about a marvel ride using the sunken treasure ride system.
Yes. I was merely clarifying what was being said.Isn't the Avatar ride supposedly using this system?
I think it would make more sense to use the sunken treasure ride system and you could go to talokanWakanda boat ride would absolutely rule. Similar energy to River journey exploring the Ancestral Plane with it's crazy visuals and amazing atmosphere. Could be be about the history of past Black Panthers or something.
I agree but in this imaginary world I've created I imagine they wouldn't want to double up with Avatar which will probably be in the same park and very close to each other.I think it would make more sense to use the sunken treasure ride system and you could go to talokan
I wasn't saying here. Maybe in Paris or Hong Kong. I still think a Star Wars boat ride through a Jedi Temple would do numbers. If they build another Marvel ride here, I would hope it would be a roller coaster, but I'm not sure if Hyperion could hold that. Maybe if they used Hyperion and Animation Academy. They want a marvel boat ride using Shanghai pirates of the Caribbean technology.
But that world be redundant since that is the rumored ride system for the new avatar ride
What would a Marvel boat ride even look like and what character/locations would it go through? That seems like the wrong IP to use for a boat ride. I mean since most of Marvel is action packed, that doesn't scream boat ride to me which is more laid back and slower.I did think about that. You're totally right. Also I feel like all the Marvel rides are pretty same-y. I would love a Marvel boat ride like Shanghai Disneyland at one of the resorts.
Better than average in my opinion. That would put it at just over 2 years of construction time, which seems very doable. What are the chances this opens in time for the May 2027 Avengers movie?
I hope it only takes them 2 years. But modern Disneys construction time seems to take 5+ years on average (even for simple re themes).Better than average in my opinion. That would put it at just over 2 years of construction time, which seems very doable.
Average taking out pandemic delays has been actually ~2.5-3 years. I know a few took longer, like Tron, but those are more the exception than the rule.I hope it only takes them 2 years. But modern Disneys construction time seems to take 5+ years on average (even for simple re themes).
True although for some reason it just seems like they take forever. Especially since the avengers e ticket ride was announced all the way back in 2019. You have to take the announcement to break ground time frame out of the equation, but know what you mean.True although for some reason it just seems like they take forever. TRON took purposeful pauses. So, that's not a good ride to go by.True although for some reason it just seems like they take forever. Especially since the avengers e ticket ride was announced all the way back in 2019. Now it’s nearly mid 2025 and they are just barely breaking ground on it
To be clear, Flight of Passage would have taken 3-3.5 years whether they built the land with it or not.TRON took purposeful pauses. So, that's not a good ride to go by.
All of Pandora took 3.5 years.
They built it into a mountain housing a second ride. I would think that if it was just a ground-level box, it would have gone quicker. To be clear, Flight of Passage would have taken 3-3.5 years whether they built the land with it or not.
