Curious if any of the insiders will tell us/admit when this goes live what was actually cut from the initial project to what we end up getting.
I'm not really sure its fair to say too much about that, as its pretty normal in most projects for things to be cut, and or even added - which has been the case in some recent projects.

Based on that reply ill make the safe guess its more than anyone wants to admit… great job Disney. Promise the world. Shoot for the moon and land almost flat.

I don’t know how that’s the conclusion you draw from that statement unless you’re just looking to be negative.

In general, the obsession with “cuts” has become ridiculous. Many things are considered and reach various stages of design maturity during the development process. Just because everything that was loosely imagined at the outset doesn’t make it into the final product doesn’t mean the result will be subpar.

You would think they’d have a climate-controlled facility that can hold all four parades and the cavalcades.
Doesn't seem to be very high on anybody's priority list... The size of the openings on the existing buildings also constrain what floats they can buy from other parks, or so I was told on my KTTK tour a few months back. Entertainment hasn't been given the kind of money they'd need for a project like this in years though.

I’m sure it will be dry with low humidity all summer!

I mean, "an overhang with curtains" sure counts as outside to me haha.
Yeah but that cant house any oversized floats, all the FoF ones go into the storage building, the overhang can only fit small to midsize floats that are either out of service or cavalcade/seasonal related.

I think you are reaching here to put Disney in a bad light.

It's just the normal design and development process - things get thought of and then changed or, yes cut, or possibly added through the process. Some things might look great on paper but aren't practical or just not coming across properly in real life. Happens with Disney, other themed entertainment, and designing office buildings, etc

Unless it is determined that something was fully agreed to and then management said "sorry, you need to cut your budget by X ...." I don't think we can bash them for the normal process
