Im honestly nervous what they’re going to announce at their mid-term plans.

Im already setting my expectations high and low.
Emotionally im going to get sad and confused and happy and excited at the same time.

My forecast is that they will mention Disney Cruise line Japan of course.

space mountain
Sugar rush
FL/CC/ROA/WL/ADL updates.

what would surprise me if they expand mermaid lagoon
new daytime harbor shows
DSS stage show (regular)
American Waterfront enhancements
LRD expansion.

But then again the focus this time will be the Cruise line and Tokyo Disneyland.

Do you know when we are to expect this announcement?

It's going to be a very interesting time for what could be announced. With ticket pricing in speculation and Splash still around, I really wonder what OLC will do. The most recent changes OLC has done is some of the biggest shifts they've done in a long time imo.

You think anything pertaining to Splash will get announced?

Concept art for the reimagined Adventureland and Port Discovery. Seems these two will be the major projects after the re-imagined Tomorrowland opens.

I really hope Aquatopia isn't getting removed just for a hotel. It's such a charming and unique ride that brings some great kinetic energy to that area of the park. Cutting it for a hotel would be such a downgrade.

I have a hard time seeing how a hotel would fit on the plot of Aquatopia unless it's a small boutique inn. It also makes no sense with the current layout of the resort because there is no way for guests or vehicles to acccess this building from outside the park. The shape of the structure looks more like a traditional dark ride show building. Looks like they are leaning more into the Victorian aesthetics of the steampunk theme for the re-imagining in Port Discovery.

Will wait for the deep dive analysis in the morning but that Adventureland looks like an absolute hodgepodge of ideas and not in a particularly good way. I do think that area of the park needs some new life breathed into it but I don't even know what I'm looking at.

At first glance, that exposed track coaster from Incredibles looks out of place with the rest of the land. Also, adding Moana in Adventureland rather than Tokyo DisneySea (where it not only fits perfectly but can get a whole land to itself) seems like a wasted opportunity.

Honestly Adventureland looks pretty bad from what can be seen (but I’m glad Tokyo is finally getting rid of its awful coloured floors. The bright green of Adventureland was always the worst one)

I am optimistic about port discovery. That dead zone between the bridge and the entry to port discovery really needs some love so I’m glad they seem to be going somewhere with that

So one good and one bad

They’re putting the Incredibles in Adventureland? 😬

Agreed on both counts. I'm not a fan of removing attractions when there are empty expansion pads available, but Port Discovery was always the weakest land at TDS in terms of theming. So much so that fans often joke this is where the money ran out during the construction of the park. This re-imagining looks like it will finally add the level of detail one expects from TDS.
