EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I'm sure Disney knows that their fans treat their parks like it's their second home so they should know that these people will monitor every nooks and crannies. They should be proactive in maintenance especially on rather newer stuff. Even a busted light on Spaceship Earth will get noticed and considered a felony to some fans.

I have no desire for more walls.... BUT, their new layout of the hub would potentially allow them to methodically take down a quarter of the hub one section at a time and implement fixes.

Pipe dream of ideas would be to remove rust elements (including the funky trees, walls, etc), tweaking the landscaping design (there's some areas right now with some very thin bushes and a s**t ton of mulch that just doesn't look great), obviously and maybe most difficultly, a clean sweep on lighting design (and control system if needed...). Would also love a stronger barrier (dense trees? idk) between seating areas and the backside of the Communicore DJ booth if they're continuing on with that monstrosity of an entertainment choice.

As for the center, a revised planter maybe that's not as bulbous/ginormous and something that a landscaping team can actually be creative with and make it a proper statement. And lastly, complete gut redo of Epcot logo in-ground lighting. I still like the logo concept, but you could pull off the same design and use fiber optics that pulse to the SSE light shows instead?

Final pipe dream would be a proper new fountain farther south right at the edge of the bldgs, but that's like 100x more of a stretch than my other hopes (which are probably already unrealistic)

Haven’t been to Epcot in years. Look forward to the changes.

I will say, I think we got a lot of good from the EPCOT overhaul. Ratatouille, GOTG, Moana, Connections/Creations, Space 220 and the SSE lights. That said we were promised a lot more. And the bad isn't just bad, but it's dumb things that could have easily been avoided, changed, or just simply made the wrong choice. IE whatever harmonius was and removing the fountain plus more. Personally I think the overhaul was half in the bag (literally half good and half bad) which is ironic given that I think the overhaul only fixed half the problems. Here's hoping we get another overhaul in the future that isn't effect by covid, chapek, and more

Some of those projects listed kind of pre-dated the official EPCOT overhaul... Yes having some more trees is nice, the restoration of the Communicore East building back into something closer to it's architectural intent is nice... The destruction of Commmunicore West, Removal of the central fountain with no replacement, the placemement of Journey Of Water, the cancellation of the UK Attraction and the construction of the "Flex Space" and DJ Dance Party are all pretty awful... That leads me to believe that another overhaul would be equally lousy for the spirit and feel of the park...
