Boring, could have added something to the sleeves, like stitch the D logo or something. Saying that, these are 1000x more comfortable for the Cast.
Standard visibility gear.
I'd be happy to see them put in some additional shaded CM areas, but guests? Walk to the park or get in your car.
Yet another missed opportunity to inject IP into part of the park that desperately needs it.

I don't mind the walk, but there are a lot of folks who have an issue with it. Just asking for a a shelter or two with a nice mist fan and an umbrella.

agree, no effort, could be anywhere, of course comfort is important in these positions.. But pretty soon just going to be solid polos and pants/shorts property wide at the rate they are going.

I always thought the next costume for this area would include high-vis as part of the costume itself so the vest wouldn’t be necessary. Both for look and for CM comfort.
Not sure why nothing decorative was added - stripes on the pants, a logo on the sleeve - something!

So why spend money on something CM's will only wear for a very short time? Why not just keep the old ones until the new are ready??

I’m pretty sure these pants and shorts are the same used for photopass. So they are saving by having multiple roles wear the same thing.

Yup. That's a thing. Many of the "costume" updates have resulted in something very akin to a standard issue uniform from anywhere. IMO Erodes the Magic a bit... sometimes a lot, but they are better for working in the Florida elements.

Knee jerk reaction thoughts:
The navy blue seems like an odd choice because I would guess that dark color it will be hotter to wear and seems less visible so makes sense these are just a bandaid.
They contrast between the white and the safety vest is way better though.
The stripes was meant to be highly visible on its own but then safety vests became the operational standard, so you had two completing highly visual looks on the same persons.
Should be interesting to see what they ultimately land on with this this change.
